Hugo is great!

Really, all the staff were wonderful but specifically, Hugo the activities guy was the one who motivated me to write this review.
While I'm here though, I have to say that the experience was over-the-top incredible. The resort definitely caters to special events and parties, which is clearly its strength. It doesn't have a lot in the way of activities, such as evening events (live music or shows, karaoke, etc.) and the only midday activities consist of beach yoga, bag toss, shore fishing, and pool volleyball. Fortunately, like I said, in spite of the dearth of activities the staff are super friendly and really helpful.
The beach is walkable but entering the surf is prohibited due to undertow and staff will definitely enforce that regulation. No drowning! However, groups of rays are visible daily within the breaking waves and some other fauna are visible as well, season depending.
Now for the Quivira Golf Course. WOW. Absolutely worth the money if you're a golfer, and club rentals come with two sleeves of balls. The food at the comfort stations is just as good as the food at the resorts, which is superb. More on that next paragraph, this is golf talk. The course is remarkable in that while a normal experience might include a couple of blind holes, this one has like seven. The views are beyond impressive and the grass is not just professionally maintained, it is consistent across the entire course. Balls hit OB are typically easy to retrieve because of the immaculately maintained sand areas, although sometimes you're just going to wind up in the poop. Or, in the case of holes 5 and 6, in the ocean. All in all, it's *well* worth the expenditure.
Now for my favorite part: the food. While Pacifica is somewhat limited in its options, a shuttle is available to both other resorts where, again, the food is superb. A note on the shuttle: it takes a while, especially if you're coming back to Pacifica from Rosé. Like nearly two hours. I struggle to find one bad thing to say about the food beyond criticizing the over saturated sashimi. But hey, great flavors. The alcohol is not poured short, watered down, or otherwise cheapened, which was refreshing.
Negatively, the only coffee shop onsite is not included in the all-inclusive, which I find patently ridiculous being that coffee is dirt cheap and everything else is not. So that was a drag because my wife really looks forward to that kind of thing at every resort we attend. Anyway...
Have a great time here if you go, it's pretty hard to foul up. And say hi to Hugo for me.
Enjoying my vacation!
