This resort is a beautiful property! However, the housekeeping was terrible! We got there around 4:30 on a Saturday and we were nowhere near the beach or sand. We had a late dinner and walked the property. Then went to bed around 10:30. There was sand on our sheets and dirty spots! We were livid! Told Club Sandals concierge the next day & she was going to have housekeeping change all bedding & clean room. We were at the beach & pool all day, came back around 4 and the room still wasn’t cleaned. Housekeeping knocked on door around 5, we told her we’d be out in 20 mins. We were out in 15 mins & she was sitting there waiting & looked right at us. We came back & room still not cleaned! We went & told Club Sandals concierge & she called housekeeping. They said the do not disturb sign was on the door. That was a lie bc I specifically remember taking it down & putting it inside when we left. Furthermore, the maid saw us leaving. Ishni the concierge made us feel like we were in the wrong & we had to defend ourselves. We were not happy with her. Finally they made the bed but did not change the bedding or clean the room until the next day! This is unacceptable! For a resort like Sandals to treat returning guests like this is disgusting! Everyday we had to ask for wash cloths, bath towels, hand towels, bath mat or soap. Housekeeping always forgot something. Then they never brought it. My husband had to find a maid and get the things from her. Worst housekeeping ever! The resort also had tons of land crabs roaming the property. I’ve seen one or two at other resorts, but never so many as at this property. Twice there was one right outside our door when we opened it. It was terrible!
The entertainment was awful! All they played was rap. There were people there of all ages, they could’ve played all different types of music, but it was rap everyday on the beach and at night. Try to relax on the beach & you couldn’t bc the playmaker was screaming & blasting rap. This isn’t necessary. Some of the guests also were blasting speakers with rap music on the beach. First time we’ve experienced this at a Sandals, & we’ve been to many.
The food was delicious & the private island nice. As for the rooms, very outdated. Disgusted with the housekeeping & the spa was not like other sandals we’ve been too. No dressing rooms, outdated.
We will never go back to Royal Caribbean again!

We had a great time but did have some problems on the way. Our first excursion was canceled but we were not informed until 40 minutes prior. An excursion scheduled for Tues was also canceled informed the day before. Took us 3 visits to the desk to get towels for our room after it had been cleaned. Two days later we requested service in our room and that didn't happen until the next day. We were not able to find towels at the beach on our first few days so when we did finally find a towel, we kept it in our room, so we didn't have trouble the next few days.
The service at the Mariner was very poor unable to get service at a table once we sat down unless we waived someone over, the overall service was not what you would expect for where we were. We received our best service from them when we were seated at the beach and the woman serving drinks would come over and ask if we needed anything more often than when we were seated for lunch.
The entertainment was very good the dancers did an excellent job.
The other restaurants we visited did an excellent job especially the Jerk shack.

This was our 3rd Sandals trip and Second RC trip. They never disappoint! From the private car to the very end! We had Akine and Melisia for our butlers. They were attentive, friendly and hard working. Took care of our reservations, special treats in our rooms. Even prepared a special Anniversary and retirement luncheon for us and our friends we traveled with. A candlelight dinner on our patio from LaTravola. One of my favorite restaurants on property. Every day they would ask our plans for the day so the butler on duty can be prepared. When I injured myself they made sure to have ice in my room daily. I was raised to treat a custodian with as much respect and admiration as a CEO. That said I want to point out some of the less praised on property. Michael in the grounds dept was there daily preparing the grounds for the day. No debris stood a chance with him around. He greeted me daily with a smile and friendly conversation. I met one young man that hopes to relocate to Canada and start his own business. The drive of so many to better themselves is amazing. Our server TracyAnn is one of the warmest happiest people we ever came across. Covid hurt many there financially and yet they all rise above it and smile in spite of it. We tried many of the restaurants there. I’m not a fan of Indian cuisine but our husbands liked it. Royal Thai is scrumptious. Cricketers was ok. Tokyo joes is still one of my go to places but bring big spray the gnats and mosquitoes were awful. Chased us out.
We went on a little known tour called Rocklands bird sanctuary not far from the resort. Our butler arranged the driver. It was 80$/couple and 25$ to enter the sanctuary. Worth every penny. We were treated to many hummingbirds feeding from little bottles provided by them. I teared up at its beauty and tranquility. Fritz told us of the birds there and videos were done for us at no charge. The mountain road to get there is not for the faint of heart lol.
Massages were off the chain! We did a couples massage on the island which was astounding. Then I had another. A CBD massage done by Caeron (Karen pronounced) I had called and nearly broke my wrist. He did my massage a little after the fall and with his expertise I had not one ache or pain the next day. He even took time daily to check on me.
The return guest dinner is something we go to as it is nice to be recognized for our patronage. The food was delicious and I tried many things I didn’t think I would like.
Are there things I wish were different of course but they are always improving the property. They are preparing to tear down Kensington and Balmoral Bldg. Hope to see it soon.
Whether you pick the lowest cost or highest cost rooms it makes little difference to the staff all have the same rights and privileges so imo save your money for the spa! Lol

We had a wonderful trip! Definitely request Dwayne and SherryAnne if you’re getting a butler suite! The are very attentive and kind with out being over bearing. Great food. Beautiful beach. Photos are overpriced and print version were not available while we were there. $20 for digital access to download.

We had the best time here!! TOMMY in entertainment and bartenders KADISHA and CHRIS made our stay 100000 times better! We are going to miss them and this beautiful resort so much. 10/10 will be back here soon.
