Hotel Has Potential But Needs Attention

Wow, the irony of being here for a national building facilities maintenance conference and the hotel hosting it being a maintenance issue. The elevators were out of service for a day and a half. There was construction going on in the lobby and other areas which is not a problem but the opening morning of our conference, in the large ballroom, I noticed all the chairs had dust one them. You could almost write your name in the dust on the chair back. My room was a bit dated, tub was chipped, water pressure was very low (10th floor so should have been fine). The sink in the washroom backed up. The Library restaurant in the lobby was strange, you had to line up at the bar to order then sit down? No table service? A hotel this size needs a dedicated, staffed restaurant for breakfast open at 6 am, no excuses. I will say the bed was comfortable, and the room was quiet. This place has a lot of potential or maybe had it and lost it?

Not great… stayed here for a work conference. 2 of the 4 elevators were down, room had a weird smell, air conditioner had trouble keeping the room not humid and there was no TV remote in the room. Stay somewhere else! There was construction, which wasn’t terrible, not all of the carpet had wear and tear. The best part of our stay was having to take the stairs up and down 11 flights to get to and from our room.
