Great room, rude staff

This hotel offers decent sized, clean accommodation which has recently been refurbished. I cannot fault the hard product offering in any form. It is disappointing that the soft product did not meet the same high standards. The staff member who processed the check in was perhaps the rudest and most dismissive person I have ever encountered in hospitality. She was intentionally rude in the way she spoke and offered no assistance beyond processing payment and supplying room keys. Whilst I understand the need for destination fees in certain areas, the supplied benefits associated with the fee should be transparent and informed during check in. I had to repeatedly ask to receive information about the benefits that were included. Unless the hotel can make serious improvements in staff morale and training, I would not recommend this hotel on the basis of feeling unwelcome.

The hotel is great, very clean, great location. Front desk staff was super helpful and friendly. Go see Allie at the bar! She is FANTASTIC!! She makes an AMAZING Paloma! I also highly recommend the breakfast sandwich!!!

Very nice rooms and amenities! The Library was perfect for a quick breakfast. ASK FOR ALLIE!!! She spreads joy, positivity, and delicious drinks.

Surprised at Check In

Upon arrival we were greeted by the manager of the hotel who informed us that we were moved to an overflow property down the street, and our room had been canceled because the hotel had overbooked by 30 rooms. We did not receive a phone call, text or email informing us of this change prior to arrival. We had grand ole opry tickets for that evening and after traveling all day needed to shower and get ready in time to leave. The staff said the property was comparable because it was a boutique hotel property but in my view it was not. The rooms were very cramped for 3 people, nowhere to sit but the bed, no table for eating etc. I would confirm your stay at this property prior to arrival if you plan to stay. The message by the staff was very cold in such a way that well you have no choice or you have no hotel. We expected more out of a sheraton property.
