Crèma was the gem of Sandals, Negril! They frothed a caramel almond milk latte for me that touched my very soul! The barristers were warm, welcoming and very talented!! Without a second thought- this was my favorite treat at the resort! As far as the rest of the review, I wasn’t as impressed with my stay at Negril as I had been at South Coast. Although it was slightly better than La Toc. Why? Well, the little things that set Sandals apart from other resorts weren’t offered at Negril. (At least they weren’t to us) No cold hand towel upon arrival, no robes in my room, no tub (?) which I thought odd. Restaurants were okay. But one night while waiting on a reservation I watched the bartender take two dirty wine glasses out of a sink full of used glasses, wipe the rim with a napkin then pour our wine. I walked away shocked- took my husband’s glass away from him and returned them to the bartender asking for clean glasses. He did not dispute or deny- he poured two fresh ones in clean glasses from the other side of the bar. So, that happened. Also, if you don’t love the weed peddling that confronts you all day long up and down the beach then this isn’t your sort of resort. I am not a taker and I find it annoying. I can tolerate the wood carvings, steel drum serenades, hats, bracelets and even the lobster man who sells along the beach front- but the unending pushing of weed and “grandma’s brownies” irritated me. Never did meet “Grandma” btw, and for all those who do partake- inevitably there will be the one idiot who will disrespect the no smoking policy and stink out their neighbor’s balcony. That, was my neighbor. Baked - 24/7 so I couldn’t even use my balcony. Finishing on a good note- the buffet salad bar was amazing, fresh and vibrant with numerous selections of colorful greens, legumes, veggies and vinegars. Additionally the room service staff and housekeeping were exceptionally good! Jamaican people are always warm and hospitable.
Favorite Winter Beach Destination

We just got back from an 8 night stay at Sandals Negril. We have been to many resorts in Jamaica, but this is our favorite. We stayed in a Beachfront Walkout for the second year, and there aren't any other Sandals where you are literally 8-12 steps to the beach and beautiful calm blue water. Service was wonderful as usual, and a special shout out and thanks to Chris the bartender at the piano bar. He makes the most delicious drinks and makes sure you enjoy every one of them. Additional shout outs to Dannyea at Barefoot, our favorite breakfast spot and to Raymar for going above and beyond. As far as cons, we miss the Italian restaurant that is now Brava serving tapas. The service and food was subpar, and we cancelled our second reservation there.
We are returning again next year for ten nights!

Everything was great. People were friendly and helpful. Food was good. We visited Creama daily for ice cream. It’s wonderful walking around and everyone acknowledges you. I highly recommend Jenevieve @ Red Lane spa for a Raindrops Dreams-deep relief massage.
Sandals Negril, The good, no bad, no ugly.

Really enjoyed our 4th trip to Sandals Negril. Our two butlers were exceptional. All of the workers were so genuinely friendly. Loved the beach and then a thirty year storm came in. The staff quickly got things back together, and up and running. Lot of beach erosion on the left side of the beach facing the water. But still the staff didn't miss a beat. Can't say enough about how quickly they recovered from the storm. The only minor thing would be that the Millionaire suite's outside didn't look exactly look like the picture in the brochure, but this was very minor. Food was very good. Entertainment was hit or miss. Loved watching the steal drum band perform. We recommend that you give this resort a try. We now have 270 paid nights with Sandals.
Diving romantic honeymoon

Delroy in the dive shop is incredible and we got our advanced open water dive certification. We were on our honeymoon and had an amazing time in such a romantic setting. The hotel is big enough that people spread out and you can find peace and quiet from the crowds but small enough that staff knows your name and it can feel very intimate at times. Christine set a romantic vibe with her dining on piano night as well! Will be back.
