Waiting for the refund Gabe promised me

Hello Gabriel Kolendrekaj, Maybe I can get your attention this way as you are not answering my emails. Although your assistant is and I have spoken to her twice on the phone. Also I could post some of the email responses from her here and perhaps that will get your attention Gabe, Do you know, I told my daughter when she was 8 that maybe someday she and I could go to New York together. Well that someday came, Sept 28 2024. I booked this hotel in December of 2023. The location was great, the price was fair and when we arrived all was well. The staff were friendly and the service was good. We were told immediately upon check in that the breakfast we paid for on our initial reservation was no longer available and were given a letter to contact you. This was so you could give us a refund for that portion of our hotel fee which I paid up front 9 months before. I emailed you that night and once again later that week before we checked out. The night before check out they told me you were away that week and connected me to your assistant. She verbally told me I would receive the refund on my Credit Card in 3 to 5 days. Days, weeks and now months have passed and it hasn't happened and as I mentioned, Gabe, I have received more emails from Adriana saying the refund is coming and I have spoken to her on the phone again and she confirmed the same. Gabe, I would be giving this review a 4 or 5 star. And I would probably change it if I see the refund happen soon. Like how about this week? In your response to me here, please do not apologize to me and say you are sorry you have not met my needs this time. I expect you are a man of your word and I have faith, truly that you will make good on that word. Send me a personal email this week please.
Much better than expected, a few tweaks needed

We were expecting far less before we arrived due to previous reviews but don’t judge a book by its cover. The reception/ Lobby wasn’t the grandest but the staff were very helpful . Our room was on the 8th floor, a little dated but the bed was unbelievably comfortable, the pillows heaven and the shower was amazing . Very clean , neat and tidy only criticism of the room no kettle so couldn’t make a cuppa in the morning . Coffee machine in the room but no pods . Tea bags available but no kettle . Best sleep we’ve both had in a long time!! So convenient for Central Park and subway . Great place for breakfast next door and a couple of bars on 56th Street for drinks and food. It was a joy walking along 57th street to see Aston Martin, Tiffany’s etc Recommendations
