We thought we had stumbled over a little gem when we arrived. Beautiful grounds with lots of wildlife. Squirrels that will eat out of your hand and the most beautiful birds are all present. Then the issues began...... housekeeping is the worst we have ever experienced. We have had to visit reception every day because there has been something missing that housekeeping should have done. Today we arrived back from the parks feeling very cold as the weather has changed. All we wanted was a coffee in our room. Of course housekeeping had not left any. Off we go to reception. They said they would inform housekeeping to get us some. About an hour later housekeeping manger appears without coffee to see what our issues were. We explained. 1.5 hours later we still have no coffee! The hotel is completely over run with kids who are here for various sporting events. I have no obligation to this what so ever, however I strongly object to said kids running around the hotel completely unsupervised and being a nuisance knocking on doors, screaming in corridors while we are trying to relax.

During my stay, personal belongings went missing from my room. These items were inside the room and were not misplaced. This is extremely serious and unacceptable. When I reported it to the staff, I did not receive any real help or solution. No one took responsibility or showed real interest in solving the problem. Because of this, I do not feel this hotel is safe for guests. This situation completely ruined my stay and caused a lot of stress. I strongly recommend being very careful if you decide to stay here

The hotel and grounds were lovely, with good facilities. However there were several groups of teenagers staying the two weeks we were there. They were extremely noisey day and night. One group of males spent evenings outside smoking what smelt very strongly of marijuana. The lifts for the 2 weeks were not reliable and the housekeeping staff monopolised them. We were on the 8th floor and one morning we had to wait 15 mins before being able to get a lift.

We stayed at this hotel for four nights only because we were part of a group and it was required we stay here. From the moment we arrived, it was one issue after another. We are Marriott Platinum Elite members, and our account clearly notes that we are eligible for upgrade or a preferred room. None were even considered or looked at in our account. Instead, we were given whatever room was available which was an ADA-accessible room that did not meet our needs. The room had virtually no storage, and I immediately knew it would not work for our stay. I then called the front desk and was placed on hold for 20 minutes. When I finally went downstairs figuring it would be quicker than sitting on hold the employee who answered the phone — along with two others — were simply chatting and laughing while I was on hold. We spoke with the manager, who promised that we would be moved to a different room when we returned from dinner. When we came back, no one had any idea what we were talking about. The lack of communication was unbelievable. They eventually moved us to another room, which smelled like a combination of vomit and heavy Febreze, so we were forced to return to the original room. The manager said we would be contacted the next day to switch rooms. Two days passed and no one ever called. When confronted, staff claimed they had contacted us which was false. I showed my phone records, and they were clearly caught in the lie. Multiple people in our group had their rooms switched due to foul odors, so this was not an isolated issue. Our room itself was disgusting: • Soiled bedsheets upon arrival • A stain on the carpet that looked like blood • The shower curtain rod fell while we were showering • Extremely dated condition with lifting carpet and visible wear This hotel is old, dirty, poorly maintained, and severely lacking in customer service. My best advice- DO NOT PUT YOURSELF OR YOUR FAMILY THROUGH THIS EXPERIENCE! This stay was stressful and disappointing, and I would never want another family’s vacation ruined by the cleanliness issues, broken promises, and complete lack of accountability we experienced here. I would strongly recommend staying elsewhere.

Let's start with the good bits , - The hotel is minutes away from the parks and has a good selection of food and shopping nearby, - The town of celebration if walking distance and a great place to visit, - The grounds including the pools and seating areas are a great asset and well used , - The parking is free, Now for the bad - The lifts are terrible only one working and even it didn't go to floor 8 because the button wasn't working, when I asked reception how to get to my floor he said the stairs but when I used them the door on 8 was locked , went back to ask again only for security to become aggressive and I walked away to get help from another guest , -The rooms are tired and due to the lift issues are not always cleaned but keeping do a good job and should be praised, - Maintenance is an issue with multiple things going wrong or breaking in the room and the hallways, -The letter in the room states to talk to them as they want 100% satisfaction but when you do your brushed off with the usual corporate speak -They advertise shuttle to parks but the times are not great and it doesn't always turn up so we drove, again spoken to desk who didn't care and told us to wait its free after all!!, In conclusion, we loved the outside spaces and location but would not recommend anyone picking this resort as it will spoil your trip, I know its only a place to rest your head between busy park days but this one should be avoided.
