The Florida chapter of the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese recently held their 5th annual conference at the Delta Marriott. This is our third year there. It gets better and better and better every year. As the conference chair, I got to know many members of the staff. Everyone on the staff is very friendly and goes out of its way to take care of their clients. The food was delicious and the service was wonderful. We had a three-day conference. The conference center is wonderful and separated from the reception area to make meetings and conferences such as ours very pleasant. The rooms are clean - spotlessly so - and very comfortable. The pool and Tiki area are wonderful to enjoy after conference hours. Children especially love the pool area with its big slide. The tiki bar serves not only drinks but food also. There's also a Starbucks in the lobby area. Everyone from Carl to Don to Divya make sure that we were comfortable and well cared for. The reservations were made easy by Kemail who worked very closely with me to ensure that everyone was well taken care of. Our conference coordinator Katie was energetic and personable and always available during our 3-day stay. The front desk staff especially Tina was outstanding. The entire conference staff is among the best I've ever dealt with. And we will be back next year and 4 years to come. Thank you all for making our fifth conference a wonderful one!!!!! First off I would say to anyone who’s looking to book here DO IT ! Absolutely ignore the other reviews it’s a great place to stay. The rooms are large with 2 double beds, wardrobe, safe and big enough storage areas. Huge tv with options to log into your own you tube and Netflix etc. there’s a coffee/ tea machine. With a full size iron and ironing board as well as a hairdryer . The bathroom is pretty big with body wash, shampoo and conditioner The room is attended everyday, beds are made and towels replaced. I forgot to mention there is a full sized fridge in the room which great. The only downside to the room is the air conditioning unit is a little loud and the room can smell musty if left on, But it doesn’t affect your clothes. The lobby is huge it has a small shop, a bar that serves food and there’s also a coffee shop ( I am going to miss the cheese danish when I’m home ) there’s also a filtered water station. There is 2 pools the larger pool and a water fall and small water slide. There is a hot tub hidden in the corner which is amazing after a long park day. There’s a little ice cream shop and a pool bar. There is pool side service for food and drinks. Someone either come round and takes your order or there’s a QR to scan. The food here is great we only ordered a few times but it was always hot and cooked to order. There’s a gorgeous outside seating area, just outside of the lobby which is lit up at night Location wise the hotel is located about a 20 minute drive from celebration, there is food places, liquor stores and a pharmacy located and the end of the road. There is more restaurants/ food places and an Aldi a little further up the road( wouldn’t recommend walking even though you probably could) Recommend hiring a car. There is a free shuttle bus that takes you to Magic Kingdom, Hollywood studios and to Universal city walk. You do have to book(12/24 hrs in advance)and spaces can fill up fast .and they will not let you on the bus without a reservation. There is a $150 refundable holding fee in case of breakages etc. I believe there is a resort and parking fee at this hotel. This was covered by our travel company so we didn’t have to pay. We were here around Labor Day and I got a little busy, but it’s expected, just another thing note weekends can also be a little busy as I believe this hotel offers day resort passes. This a Disney partner hotel and you can purchase park tickets as well as universal tickets Last bit now I know this was a long one haha Absolutely recommend this hotel to couples and families it’s actually quite a chilled and place. Staff are friendly, really clean. 10/10 would return

I LOVE MARRIOTT! This was my wife's favorite hotel, now it's mine! I managed to meet all the staff here due to various reasons. Front desk are super nice, housekeeping is the best, waitress amazing, engineering is top notch and I think we even met maintenance. Everyone is superb and helped us out immensely. The hotel is great, we've been regulars but they went above and beyond this time.

2 years ago I wrote a review with the title "will be returning" and here I am, RETURNING. We are due to check out from the hotel in a few days and we are sad to leave. I utilised time in the gym for this holiday, the gym equipment is actually really good for a hotel. Not just a standard CV gym they have dumbbells, benches and a multi cable machine. (If you need anything else what are you doing in the gym???). All of the staff are friendly. The area is constantly clean, they have maintenance workers around all the time maintaining the gardens, fish ponds, flowers and so on.... It's nice to see. The bar staff were attentive, knowing my order from day one and remembered it for the entire duration. Top service. Again, 8/9 minutes from Disney. About £12 in a taxi ... Close to the outlet mall, universal, sea world.... They offer a free shuttle service but we did not utilise this, mostly because I work on my time, and can't stick to schedules. I used the laundry services on floor 2, no issues there. House keeping were brilliant, came almost every day. A short walk to a mini mart, and a couple of restaurants. (Beware of Charleys, unless you re mortgaged before coming to Florida- those prices will get ya) I genuinely do not have a bad thing to say about this hotel, we've stayed with them twice now, and guarantee, if we come to Florida again, we will return. I'm always surprised to read negative reviews on this place, for the price, what do you expect? Champagne lifestyle on a lemonade budget? It is an absolute STEAL for the price and location and facilities.

My daughter and I stayed this past week. It is our second time staying.( Last stay was the whole family). The hotel is clean, and easy to navigate. As platinum Marriot rewards members we enjoy the well stocked pantry. Beds are comfortable and the fridge in the room is a good size. We went to Disney and had no trouble with transportation between the free shuttle and using uber. The pools and hot tubs are great and we spent a whole day just relaxing by the pool. There is also really nice sitting areas. The staff was all very professional and kind but special shout out to the bartender Destiny. She is awesome, fun and makes you feel like family. Highly recommend and will stay again.
