Marriott should be ashamed of themselves for trying to come off as an affordable hotel, but instead hitting you with hidden parking fees ($22/night) and daily destination fees. There's nothing super special about this hotel to warrant these extra fees. Go stay at a Fairfield Inn and get the free parking.

Great base and big rooms!

After reading the very mixed reviews on here I wanted to be sure to leave a review. The check in and check out process was very easy - we booked through Virgin holidays so had free parking and late checkout which the reception were more than happy to help with. We were in the Cove building. The room was large and clean, 2 comfy double beds, big TV and a table and chairs. There was also good storage and a decent sized fridge. Bathroom was clean and shower warm. The only “issue” we had was our towels were taken as part of room clean and not replaced but was immediately sorted by going to reception. The pool area was great and kept clean, got busy over the weekend but to be expected. The pizza served by the pool was lovely and not a bad price for hotel food! There’s a Starbucks in the lobby and the staff were all lovely and took the time to learn my name (we went most mornings!). It’s a short 10-15 min drive to any of the Disney parks/ Disney Springs with plenty of Uber or Lyft rides available if you don’t have a car, and there’s also a shuttle bus a couple of times a day but the times didn’t quite work for us most days. It’s a great base for visiting Disney and close to celebration and walking distance to a CVS, ihop & chipotle. There should have been laundry facilities but they weren’t in our building just an empty room so worth checking if that’s something you’ll need :)

Excellent value hotel, friendly staff and comfortable rooms. Bar menu changes regularly, recommend the pizza. Bar staff excellent and make a great cocktails! Breakfast buffet good value, que for omelettes can get long during peak times. Pool area can get busy at weekends and main pool is refreshing!!! Also a smaller heated pool. Compact well stocked gym, need to fix treadmill! Close to Downtown Disney and the parks.

Would not recommend this hotel!!!

Firstly I'd like to say it's a such shame as the hotel it's self was the bar/reception pool etc were nice and even the room was ok but dated and could be doing with an upgrade. However it was the lack of customer service and some unfortunate events that happened during ny stay would make me never recommend this hotel 1. Toilet in the room - from the minute we got to our room till the minute we checked out our toilet had been leaking for 6 full day/nights. I went to reception on several occasions and each time I was told someone would be up to fix it but then never happened which resulted in us having to use towels on the bathroom constantly. On one occasion I was promised by the reception manager that someone would be up to fix it I then went out for a few hours and on my toilet had been fixed. It was the customer service that I received from reception staff who didn't even seem to care when I did complain several times. I was then misinformed by 2 of the reception team one telling me my toilet was unfixable and I'd be moved room then another telling me someone had been into look at it and it was fixed just waiting on selant drying and then around a minute later told that noone had been in and they would send someone up at 9pm...don't think so. Noone seemed overly bothered by this and on checking out 6 days after checking in the toilet was still leaking.. Good luck to the next set of quests checking in to that room! 2. Room door left open - after being out all day at universal we returned back to our room door open, my first thought it was the maintenence team as they had been in to fix the toilet (wishful thinking) then realising that it was housekeeping who had left the door open, I then headed to complain to once again be met by unhelpful reception staff who didn't seem to care about the fact my door had been open for potentially hours and anyone could of been in my room and through all of our stuff. After requesting to speak with manager I spoke with a female reception manager, who did apologise but also seemed uninterested in the matter saying 'what would you like me to do about it' this attitude was disgusting and the thought of my door being left open for hours with all my stuff in view to anyone walking past. I expect when I stay in a hotel that my belongs be safe. 3. Missing croc - I had been at the pool wore my crocs from the pool to my room then quick change and out for dinner on returning a few hours later to our room being cleaned beds changed etc. It was in the morning when I discovered I was a Croc missing after searching the room it was definitely missing, again met by unhelpful reception team who phoned housekeeping and said it wasn't there and that was it. So I now have a new pair of crocs that i purchased before my holiday that I can no longer wear as I only have one and noone seemed I'm the least bit interested.

Bugs in the sink & near air conditioner

My daughter & I stayed at this location May2-7,2024. The room and hallway smelled musty, our room did not have a closet it had a rack. We had to contact the front desk because it had bugs in the sink also by the air conditioner window unit . I asked to switch rooms,but they were sold out to capacity. I also wanted to switch hotels, but everything was sold out due to a cheer competition. I went down to the front desk to notify them They sent maintenance up to spray , which they did, but the bugs were back the next day, this hotel needs an exterminator . I’m very very disappointed in the Marriott hotels.
