Active Advisories
Walt Disney World Swan has started the initial phase of a guest room redesign project, tentatively scheduled to be completed in October 2023. Approximately 315 guest rooms at the Swan will be redesigned during this first phase. Rooms at the Dolphin and Swan Reserve are unaffected at this time.
The Swan guest room redesign will feature notable upgrades including wood laminate flooring, new furniture, 65” flat screen TVs, updates to soft goods and enhancements to guest room bathrooms.
Redesign work will take place daily between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., when the majority of our guests are out of their rooms, and each section of rooms being worked on will be placed out of order. Additionally, the guest rooms on the floor directly below where the work is being done will also be placed out of order to minimize noise impact.
Although some noise may be heard, all efforts will be made to minimize guest impact during this time.

Great Arrival & Departure Experience

Awesome hotel in perfect location. The team is always so willing to serve & ensure a flawless experience. Dylan F in valet wheats goes above & beyond. He recognizes you, greets you by name & engages about your day. A true stoic figure who ensures that he’s a smiling face to welcome you on the first visit or welcome you back. The restaurants are superb and Il Mulino is absolutely decadent and exceptional from start to finish. Overall amazing job and a place you should certainly visit while in Orlando for stunning stays, great service, exceptional food and convenience.
BEWARE! Do not stay here right now!!!

OH BOY! Beware of the work they are doing on the outside of the building. We checked in on 9/28 for an 13 night stay at the Swan and haven’t slept in days! The first night we had to sleep with our heads under the covers due to the fact that the air conditioning vent was directly facing our bed. When we turned down it would get too hot so we tried to deal with it for 2 nights. My daughter has been sick since. On the 3rd day my husband went to the front desk to see if we could be moved to a different room. After some back and forth we were moved to another room. We were happy and went into the parks. We came back that night tired and exhausted planning on sleeping in and relaxing. No such luck. The next morning at 9am there was such loud drilling coming from all sides that we thought something was coming through our walls. We called the front desk and they were surprised that we didn’t know there was work being done on all the balconies around our area of the building. That there should be a letter stating that in our room. There was no letter. The lady at the front desk was very matter of fact and stated that the work would start at 9am Monday through Friday. We were shocked. We are a very patient family , we keep our cool but it’s crazy to us that they put us in this room knowing this work was being done after we had complained about not be able to sleep in the first room. It’s beyond us! We have not slept well since we checked in. Yesterday we came back and the room had not been cleaned. We had no water, coffee, towels, toilet paper, etc. I called the front once again and was told that I had signed up to not have housekeeping everyday. I did no such thing. I’ve literally had to hunt down housekeeping for the water they are supposed to provide. The 2 waters a day per person that we pay for! We have stayed here before and enjoyed our stay but I would have stayed at the Dolphin if I had known this amount of work was taking place. It is ridiculously expensive at WDW and to pay all this money not to sleep is just not acceptable. My daughter is still sick from the vent hitting her face all night from the first room and has not been able to get better at all because she hasn’t slept. This is not cool. Stay at another resort! You are definitely on your own here! So Sad!!
