My husband and I are just wrapping up the first of three 14-night stays planned at this hotel through March. The hotel has everything - great food, stunning grounds beautiful spa, beyond lovely and helpful staff everywhere. The golf course could use a little attention. The Signature Suite is a great value - though remodeled within the last few years it already looks a bit worn. We had a few in-room issues upon arrival but they were handled immediately.
An important issue to be aware of…this is an enormous facility and caters to very large groups. Our first four days here were ridiculous - not a seat available AT ANY TIME in the bar, the lobby or ANY restaurant for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The group totally took over every nook and cranny 24/7 and used the lobby and bar as their offices and meeting space. Currently there are a number of smaller groups but are not too noticeable except in the bar at night when they take over.
Lastly, it takes numerous attempts to reach anyone when calling the “At Your Service” line, and when I just requested at the front desk for our room to be in the same general area for our next 14-night stay in February I was told another large group was assigned that block for 3 nights and our room would be exactly where I requested it not be - so I guess a 3-night booking by a large group trumps a 14-night booking by a couple who are staying 45 days over 8 weeks ???????
Great long weekend with couples/wife weekend

My husband and I were here a few years ago and we came about 3 times. He has a conference here. During the conference the wives come to hang out and enjoy a nice long weekend. My husband is an ambassador. Check in was painful we were waiting waiting on the line for bonvoy members. There was only one person working another person comes over but tells someone in the other line they he can help them. Not caring about the line that was already there. My husband had 5 rooms under his name, they had it all confused and it took so long to figure out. Then 3 rooms were not ready which we understand. (One of them were ours). My husband was not happy and upset that they treat Ambassador status like this. The person we did speak to later on helped out a lot another was coming but flight was delayed and not coming until the next day the waived the fee for the night and our reservation for the Japanese restaurant was not going to happen since they were not there. The restaurant was going to charge us 25 a person on whoever does not show up. Front desk called and got the fee waived. Food was delicious everywhere and drinks were great. Staff at all restaurants, bars and pool did a great job. The wives took the boat ride which was great and the spa was amazing. We do all wish the bar stayed open later we remember in the past the bar outside near the fire pits stayed open late but not this time. Housekeeping was great, room was always cleaned. We had a beautiful view of the pool and mountains. Of course I want to come back.
