Good Location Some Issues with the Room

Mostly the stay at this hotel was good. The location was perfect right in the middle of town and an easy walk to all the restaurants and bars you could want. The room was nice although we found the bathroom very small. The pool was pleasant, it was deep and heated to a good temperature but as older adults we almost always stay in adult only properties and because it was a busy weekend there were quite a few kids and toddlers in the pool so is wasn't a particularly relaxing experience. The main issue we had and why I took off a star was the sleepng environment and the inability to get the room dark. There was a large window that had a blind to pull down so that was fine but right beside it was a door with a large window that just had shutters. There was a bright light on all night outside the door that came in and kept the room pretty bright. I don't know why there wasn't a blind in front of the door to pull down. For me have a light shine in your face all night when you're trying to sleep is pretty annoying.

Palm Mountain Resort is a very good hotel in a great location with a nice pool. It is a short walk to the main restaurants and bars. Good views of the mountains.
