This place was amazing! My first ever all inclusive and I know I will come back next year! Chimbala made the experience amazing. Every day he checked on my wife and I and made sure we were comfortable in a place where we could not speak Spanish!!

So… we went and stayed 18 days in August! I have been to this resort many, many times, when it was adult only. This was the first time going since it became family friendly. I did find out that they were having a special promotion that kids under 12 went for free until the end of August. As you can imagine the place was jumping. At first, I was not very happy, but then we settled in, found our new niche. Granted not 100% but was consoled that this was temporary, only because of the special promotion. As I see from the more recent posts it has calmed down a lot. All in all we had a very fun and pleasant stay. It was wonderful to be greeted with open arms but so many!! Cruz, GM; Marino, Manager, and Aurelio, Beverage Manager, all made sure we had a perfect stay. Front Desk: Kelvis, Miguel, Marie, Mariella, Jennifer and Andrisonwere pleasant and extremely helpful. Our favorite bartenders were there. Omar, Alexander and Luz during the day by the pool and Widelson by the beach….! Love them! Omar made Hurricane drinks with all natural ingredients, as we waited for Hurricane Franklin to make landfall. (Luckily he didn’t show up) Omar going the extra mile! Never allowing my glass to be empty. Making the best concoctions! Widelson, also a magnificent bartender! Another thoughtful bartender making sure all was well at all times. In the evening the dynamic duo of Joel and Orvelis! Fun and super nice! Consensus: Top notch drinks, and always served with a smile! Buffet: The food was the same quality as always. Now that I paid attention, as I am not vegan, it surely isn’t vegan friendly. I did, however, mention this to the GM. The service at the buffet was brilliant, honorable mention: Brayon, Sussy Alexander, and Francisco. They would go to the Coffee Shop and bring us cappuccinos! Restaurants: All the same restaurants as before, same menu. Italian (Rosmarino) (by the beach), Mexican (Puebla 222), and Dominican (Sofrito) and International (Bend). Very good quality of food, and wonderful service. All were so kind and attentive. Honorable Mentions: Nataly and Juan (Mexican), Nelson (Blend). Note if you order the Salmon ask for it cooked medium or it is cooked well done, and steak med or it will be cooked well done). Rosana, Dawin, Gloria y Robinson (Rosmarino y Sofrito). *** MANAGEMENT PLEASE INSTALL FANS AT THE BAR AND ROSMARINO AT THE BEACH. IT IS VERY SUFFICATING. NOT ONLY DO THE CUSTOMERS SUFFER SO DO THE EMPLOYEES. Room/Housekeeping: We had the Amnesia Room. The bed was too soft for our liking but they did replace with one that was on the harder side. The pillows are nice and soft. The lineans are of great quality. Soft and smooth. The room is cleaned on a daily basis. Clean towels, restocked mini fridge. Honorable mention: Genara, Maria Estela. Animation: New group,,, love Michael. So much talent and very personable. All of them are very talented. Changes: • You do have to make reservations for dinner. Really not a big deal. What we did was we made reservations for a week out. • There was a snack bar at night until I believe 6 am vs room service. We were allowed to take the food to the room. • Coffee Shop. Small but nice. They serve Starbuck like coffees, pastries, and sandwiches.
