We were a group of 8 who spent a week here from July 3rd to 10th. The hotel was not very populated which is good, so you would think. Wrong, only 1 a la carte restaurant was opened at night and was always booked. Finally got the front desk to help score a reservation but when we got to the restaurant they did not have it on file. They were turning us away until we insisted as there were several tables available. The food at the buffet was the same. Variety was missing and we all got sick. All 8 of us!! During the weekend, the locals fill up the hotel. We went to the buffet and was told there was not tables available…but there were tables, tables that were reserved for the VIP but the hotel did not have many VIP staying there. They finally offered us a table but we were so turned off, we skipped dinner. The next day found out from staff that when the buffet is full, they are supposed to open the sliding doors of the a la carte restaurant next door. Service was just horrible. The only thing that impressed me was the beautiful beach. I will never return here or recommend this resort.

Viva Heavens used to be good. Now it’s family friendly and it sucked.It was nice when it was Adults only. The staff was amazing!! Sussy and Omar the bartender was great. I went there five times and now I will not go there again. The hotel is cutting costs and it’s not like it used to be.The main DJ really sucks and his music gives me a headache. He plays the same music because he is lazy. Any I am done with this resort!!
