It’s all about the people. The staff is beyond attentive. Sitting by the pool Juan, Ulises or Ramon would be by every few minutes catering to your every need. The food was tasty. And the nightly themes allowed for variation. I attended during Thanksgiving and the traditional Thanksgiving dinner was delicious.

Had a spectacular 11 night stay at Casa Velas. Absolutely beautiful boutique hotel, with fantastic food and ambience. What really makes the hotel a special place is the staff - they cannot do enough for you!!! Special thank you to Juan, Ramon, Ulises at the swim-up bar, Fredy at the lobby bar, Edie and the other drivers, and Daniel, Beny, Enrique and everyone at the Beach Club. The reception team was also extremely helpful and kind, and made our stay incredible! I cannot say enough good things about this property and would HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend it to anyone wanting a peaceful, high quality experience — we will definitely return!
