We had our wedding at Grand Velas, and it was perfect! They literally gave me my dream beach wedding! My planner, Monce, was on top of everything and really understood my vision from the beginning. She was there every step of the way and made sure our wedding day went so smoothly. The staff there are amazing! Our personal concierge, Maria, was always a WhatsApp message away. Our favorite pool bartender Jose always made sure we never had an empty shot glass and bar tended all of our wedding events per our request. We also had the privilege of meeting their social media team, Eric and Paula, who made amazing content documenting the wedding planning process with our wedding. Everything was amazing and they really make you feel like family at Grand Velas!

The weather was perfect. The resort is well maintained, not crowded during our stay, lots of space for guests for any activity. Friendly and welcoming staff members from the concierge, the chefs, activity coordinators, restaurant staff to the lobby guys. We felt at home away from home. My spouse is celiac the chefs at Grand Velas has been extremely accommodating of her dietary needs. The food is top notch, GF cross contamination was taken seriously. A couple of times the chef made special GF dish to accommodate our choice for dinner. What a wonderful and relaxing time at Grand Velas RN.

We stayed Grand Velas 10days this time .. past or present we never regretted .. worth any pennies !!! Absolutely fantastic services and friendly staff and great atmosphere … just perfect location … The most important the service we received from various staff … it was priceless !!! We recommended 100 percent … Also the wonderful staff … concierge Louis … Eduardo … and Azul restaurant team specially captain Fidel !!! Thank you

We simply love the Grand Velas and recommend it to everyone, it is that good! I think we are in our fifth or sixth year, and by now we have many "resort friends" who are also there at the same time each year -- the kids can't wait to see their friends each year! The facilities across the board are top notch, even at high season it never feels crowded, the service is spectacular, and we really enjoy the many excellent restaurants on the property: There is no reason to leave, just stay and relax! Our concierge Luis is amazing and helped ensure every detail of our stay was just perfect -- we all really appreciated his care and attention and each year we go back it is great to see him again. I also enjoyed the help of the Sommelier, Francisco, who helped ensure we also had a fantastic wine experience with each meal while helping elevate the already incredible service. We are of course already booked for next year. See you by the pool! :)

Amazing experience. Staff was top notch. Always making sure everything was perfect. Our family was kosher and they are able to get kosher food delivered. I met with the head chef on check-in. I walked him through the meals. He was able to make hotdogs and chicken fingers for the kids poolside. My wife had kosher steaks for dinner. At lunch, they actually were grilling tomahawks and slicing them up. Another day they cut up a whole fresh tuna. We'll be going back next year.
