Third Time to Mousai

Since this is my 3rd time visiting this resort, my expectations were very high. We have visited pre-in post Covid. In the past we would give this resort a five-star rating. However it appears that recently while the place is still awesome, they seem to be cutting some corners. We arrived as a group and there was no welcome drink. The Butler service seem to be based upon text messaging. We only saw our Butler on one occasion and the rest of the communication was by text. In the past they would make it a point to come and visit you daily. In the past the use to give great chocolates during turndown service. In its place there is now a cookie. We have never had a situation regarding our minibar not being serviced, however this time our minibar was not service for one day. We also noticed that the room was not is clean as in the past. The facilities were great and the service was on point. The complaints above I would characterize as minor however for a truly five-star experience we should not have to have these issues. I would definitely come back again. Hopefully these small minor issues will be worked out.

?? Caution ?? ?? Attention, everyone! ?? I just experienced a truly awful hotel that I have to warn you about. ?? Stay far away from this place! Here's what you need to know: ?? First of all, the decor is straight out of a 70s television show. It's a major disappointment. ?? ?? While the staff might seem polite and friendly when you're booking, it's a whole different story when you actually arrive. You start realizing you've been tricked. ?? ??? We opted for the All-Inclusive package, but every time we went to eat, we were treated with indifference. It's incredibly frustrating! ?? ?? But the last straw was when they refused to provide us with a receipt at the end of our stay. On top of that, they put a hold of $500 on our credit card, which still hasn't been released. ?? ?? Please, save yourself the trouble and find a different hotel. Don't make the same mistake we did. This place is just not worth it. ?? Spread the word and let everyone know to avoid this nightmare of a hotel! ??? Stay safe and choose wisely. ???
Rest and Relaxation at it's Finest

My husband and I stayed at Hotel Mousai this past week and it was absolutely an excellent experience. The staff was super very friendly and always at your service. The food and drinks were of highest quality that we've experienced in quite some time (as we've been to numerous all-inclusive resorts over the years). The hotel was modern, clean with very well- designed rooms (all rooms have amazing views, but the corner suites get three different views. I recommend the North Tower PV/Bay view). The entire resort was amazing with shuttles to/from the beachside pool & restaurants were timely and relaxing as they wind up and down through a beautiful tropical atmosphere. Everything you need to adjust your room (music, lighting, sheers, curtains, etc.) were accessible on an iPad or wall units. The balcony hot tub, loungers, couch and hammock were all very clean and enjoyable. I really can't say enough good things about this resort and the bonus was that Hotel Mousai (all adult) is also connected to the properties of Garza Blanca (family friendly). It had something for everyone! We will definitely return again and again!
BEST couples trip!

We had the opportunity to go to our favorite hotel, Hotel Mousai in our all time happy place, Mexico! We went with great friends of ours, who have also visited on their own a few years back. We all stayed in the south tower, and not to be surprised… everything was amazing and therefore I need to write another review. From the moment you enter the lobby to start your trip to the time you depart back to the airport, everything was absolutely perfection. Once again, we requested the most amazing Buttler Hotel Mousai is lucky to have, Carlos Ramos! He was messaging us via WhatsApp well before we arrived to ensure reservations, and our room was set. Our room was stocked with the mini fridge as well as the message “Welcome Back” in flower petals. He also set up as a surprise in our friends room with happy birthday balloons, dessert, and drinks. Every morning, seats were reserved at the pool and we were looked after throughout the day. Kayaking, Hydro therapy/spa appointments, dinner reservations, and daily lattes, mimosas, and fresh fruit were all taken care of. We had a very special lunch on the rooftop that was a Mexican barbecue and it was amazing. So many of the staff have remembered us from our many visits, and all the friends that we have sent and they made a point to go out of their way to say hello and take care of us. Entertainment every night on the roof was excellent including the fireworks to celebrate independence day for Mexico. The resort was a bit quiet due to the season and we loved that. I can not say enough how beautiful this resort is, how amazing the service is and excellent the food & drink. ALL the staff are incredibly kind and work so hard. Some of my favorites are: Matteo, Ignacio, Gerardo & Greta on the rooftop Miguel, Alejandro & Alejandra @ Hiroshi. Ricardo from the front door Visit Hotel Mousai and don’t forget to take care of your amazing staff and tip them well…they take care of you and make your vacation fabulous!

Although all the service and staff at the Mousi in Puerto Vallarta are the best . My butler Carlos Ramos was an exceptional employee who would go above and beyond to to make my stay as perfect and memorable as possible, there are no days off for this man it seems. Day or night Carlos answered my texts and made sure my stay was perfect, checking up on me without needlessly hounding me , he was simply the best. Ricardo the bellhop was also extraordinarily kind and sincere.
