Nice relaxing holiday in the sun

The most special thing about the Melia all Inclusive hotel were the staff. All the staff without exception were super, friendly and could not do enough for you. Cassandra and Ana had me doing yoga moves that I had not tried before and set my body off right for the whole day. The Breakfast staff at Mole and Tacos (we had premium bands which we thought were worth every penny) included Karen, Marco and Everardo. The food was delicious and we could change the menu slightly to suit our needs/ wants. Lunch was at the buffet restaurant and were often offered something extra like ice cream. All the bar staff were excellent. Our evenings were mostly back at Mole and Tacos. Sometimes we had to eat a bit later than we would like, but once you got the table you were never rushed and had all the time you needed to eat. Everado, Abel, Rigoberto, Isaac, Raul, and Juan took pride in serving us. The drinks came regularly and the food was exceptional; on our last night it was hard to choose what we wanted for our final meal. The hotel is a bit older and it is starting to show (eg. No USB ports for charging so bring your adapter). We did not take part in the entertainment or watch the shows though choice. For the price this is an excellent hotel, clean, good food and the staff were very good.

The price is good but the food is not good. Our room had a constant noise from the bathroom which was odd. If you are on a budget and don’t mind mediocre food and drinks then it’s a good deal.
