Leto was the BEST. She was so fun with all the activities. The is the perfect person to run the fun!! The beach party, the games, she even taught me how to dance. She made our trip wonderful!

We stayed for 6 days for a family vacation and overall had a great experience. Check-in took longer than expected. We completed the online check-in beforehand hoping it would speed things up, but unfortunately it didn’t make a difference. The rooms and hotel overall were kept very clean throughout our stay. The canned drinks (soda and beer) and the two bottles of water restocked in the room daily were a nice touch. The buffet had a different theme daily with a good variety of selections, which kept meals interesting. There were activities scheduled throughout the day that also varied daily, so there was always something to do and you definitely won’t be bored. All of the staff we interacted with were very friendly and welcoming. The activity staff did a wonderful job keeping guests engaged and making the atmosphere fun. Leticia, Ana, and Alejandra especially stood out because they learned our names, which made the experience feel much more personal. We also booked four massages with four different therapists, and every massage was excellent.

We will remember our stay here not only for the fantastic facilities (great pool, fabulous restaurants and great activities) but also most importantly for the TOP service from the people who work here. Recommend booking the restaurants! Restaurants are incredible- highly recommend- amazing chefs and top menu. The activities such as yoga and aqua fitness in the pool were great start to the day. The staff are energetic fun and really put a smile on your face! Karen, Bridsian and Carolina during breakfast were incredibly helpful and friendly throughout our stay. Very hardworking, kind- always smiling and ready to help with any queries. We noticed that the staff in general, would check if we were OK, ask if we wanted drinks and helped you with any questions or issues. Lizbeth and Georgina at reception were equally welcoming and helpful, always friendly to our family and happy to assist with any questions. Also want to say another thanks to Manuel as has been so welcoming! He was so responsive and friendly to us but also towards our little baby!! Brandon and Francisco were very helpful by the swimming pool offering us drinks and also very friendly. The only issue I had (which is minor) is the shower in the room was a little too aggressive for my liking. Apart from that rooms were clean and had everything we needed. Thanks to the workers at the spa who were a delight to talk to, Job who helped us with our questions and Jose who welcomed us right at the beginning of our stay. As you can see, this felt like a very customer service friendly environment and we have been grateful for such top service. All in all an amazing time and incredible staff. Thank you

We have visited the Melia and are very pleased with this hotel. The staff are very friendly from check-in to the end of our vacation. Front desk persons are very friendly and welcoming. Bellboys are always helpful and welcoming. Buffet staff are quick to help each other and are very efficient. All of the buffet staff from the manager David to the servers Francisco, Dianah, Teresa and to many others to mention even the hostesses go out of their way to help a guest. The maids do an excellent job with the rooms along with the pool and yard staff which are always working and cleaning. The conceirge staff are also very friendly and helpful. Melia in Puerto Vallarta is an excellent resort for those wanting to experience mexico for the first time. The hotel is close by to the airport and has perfect view of the ocean. The rooms were very clean and although slightly dated, there was renovations being down on different floors. There are two restaurants that require reservations. One being seafood and the other being authentic Mexican cuisine. The buffet that offers 3 meals a day of the week also had very good variety. Everyday had a different theme for supper. Efren from the waitstaff knows how to give everyone a good time. During the day there are plenty of things to do on your own such as mini golf, kayaking and table tenis. There are also structured activities for people to compete in. Alejandra, Yunsel, Eshau, Leticia and Betty are all fantastic employees that kept the towel shed and the activities going. During the day there is always music playing to keep the happy atmosphere going. At night after supper is closed and all the structured activities are complete. The whole hotel quiets down apart from the lobby bar that can stay busy until that closes. All in all, the basic all inclusive experience was worth the price paid to enjoy the nice sun and be outside. I will be coming back here in the future.
