It was a really fulfilling vacation with almost perfect weather, excellent drinks, awesome stuff and beautiful landscape. The service was at the highest level you can expect and everyone unconditionally was friendly and making the stay as comfortable as possible. The food was fantastic! We can't wait to come back again.
Best Vacation

We had a super cool vacation in this resort. The food and drinks are top! The whole staff is more than friendly and we felt very comfortable. The animation Team with Yulieta, Yeison, Maria, Rosi and Rene made our stay perfect! The „manager of talking“ Dauly was the funniest and heartfull person we met here! Thanks for making this vacation so awesome.
Very Nice Resort/Beach
GarrettJohnson24 (Scottsdale, Arizona) on Sep 11, 2023
Overall we had a wonderful 6 day trip here. Pros - The beach is beautiful. We intentionally chose this location to try and avoid the Sargassum and it worked out great. Prestine water. Not the best beach for walking on the Adults side, but there's plenty of walkable beach around the resort. As a Diamond member there were tons of included benefits that I was not expecting. There were some smaller things like discounts at the shops, but we were upgraded to a "premium" room and we made great use of the Premium Lounge, Pool, and Beach area. Our host (Febles Butler) was awesome and checked in with us every day. Was super helpful in organizing some of the additional things we booked (massages, beach day bed, etc.) He'd ask where we would be for the day and would bring a cooler with some drinks in it which was really nice. Anytime we needed anything he was our go to guy, and we always felt like he was anxious to do more for us. Food was generally pretty good, but nothing exceptional. There was a good variety of restaurants throughout the resort. We were slightly disappointed with late night options though. After 10pm, your only option is a very limited room service menu. As late-night snackers we found that a little annoying. Cons - There was plenty going on during the day, but it seemed like there were limited options at night. They always had live music (in multiple locations) and a main show, but there wasn't ever much of a lively party. We spent most nights going to the casino when we got bored. (BTW the bartender there was awesome!) (This part is going to ramble for a bit, but it was really a very frustrating part of our stay). The biggest con for us was multiple issues we had at the front desk. I received an email a few days before arriving congratulating me on getting upgraded to a Premium Swim-Out Room which we actually got very excited about. When checking in however they downgraded us to a regular (albeit "Premium" room type). When I inquired about this at the front desk all I got was a series of "They are sold out now" and "You should be happy you got upgraded to a Premium room". A simple apology would have gone a long way, but I was really made out to feel like an idiot. The conversation actually ended with the lady at the desk answering the phone while I was mid-sentence and then ignoring me. It's worth noting that this all happened at the main front desk, but when we later inquired at the Premium Lounge Check-In Area, they were much more apologetic. The whole situation was self-inflicted as I would not have never complained about NOT getting an upgrade. But being told you're getting one, and then being downgraded without as much as an apology was such an awful way for us to start the week. We also noticed that everyone else in the Premium rooms were being checked in at a separate area and being given a brief tour. For whatever reason this was not the case for us and we actually accidentally wandered into the Premium check-in area while waiting for our room and they were super helpful and got us taken care of right away. Another random tidbit - when the bellboy brought our bags to our room it was pouring rain and he told us there should be an umbrella in our closet. We realized we didn't one and he said he would bring one. After a while it became clear he wasn't coming back so we again went to the front desk to ask if we could get one. The two women behind the desk briefly talked to each other and then turned and just said "No" then went back to talking to each other. I again left the desk feeling like a fool. We did have the front desk break a bill for us at one point, but beyond that they didn't seem willing/capable of helping with much else. It's worth noting that the rest of the staff apart from the ladies at the front desk were all incredible. Everyone seemed genuinely happy to help. From our host Febles, to the waitstaff at the restaurants, to the bartenders, the people there are a large part of what made our week special.
A Quality Resort in the DR
Jeffrey T (Brooklyn, New York) on Sep 08, 2023
When you want to get away to a more relaxed section of the DR look no further than this resort. Pros: + Best in class service all around the hotel, the entire staff is dedicated to make your stay a pleasant one. + Offers excursions to various activities (visiting nearby islands, touring in DR, dolphin swimming, etc.) in front of the lobby. Can be pricey compared to similar excursions outside the resort but the quality is higher. + Got your typical beach and pool area, equipped with their own bar. The bartenders are always hospitable and social if you communicate in Spanish + The grill that's offered in the pool makes delicious hamburgers, hot dogs and nachos + Hotel events are plentiful and social oriented. From dancing at the pool, to attending their various nightly events, there's something for everyone here + Water Park and all of it's amenities (slides, lazy river, kids pool, etc.) + The Flamingos ?? Cons: - Non Dominican food offered during dinner at the resort varies in quality. The Dominican food is pretty good and makes up for this Con - Not much to do in the resort beyond pool/beach/water park and eat. Days can feel the same if you stay too long Shout outs to: Yuliana, Edwin, Alexis, Francisco, Brihan, Wendy, Elany for making my stay the best it can be. They exemplify how friendly and outgoing the Dominican people are
All-around Great Experience

This was the PERFECT place to host my wife's birthday surprise! The atmosphere was inviting, the people are super friendly and anticipate guests' needs. Jose Aquino, a Bellman who greeted us on our way out, was there to assist with our luggage...and he did it with a smile. Too many people to thank for this experience!
