Great people, good food. Clean beautiful place.

This is my third time at this resort. I have come back repeatedly because 1.) the food is wonderful and 2.) have always immensely enjoyed the nightly entertainment. This is why I cannot give the Grand palladium five stars. The nightly entertainment was one of the main things that drew me back to this resort over and over. It was a huge disappointment to find out that they have limited that and replaced it with what they call parties instead of true entertainment shows each night. That was the one thing that this resort had over the others I've been to and it may affect my decision about coming back again.

We waited 6 months after booking to finally experience this resort and it did not disappoint! The jungle setting, the food and most of all service make this resort so special and you can see why people return time and time again. Special thanks to Maria at the infinity pool who always remembered our drinks (and names) and really looked after us during the day, Alan and Cesar at Helios for breakfast and lunch worked endlessly at making sure we could want for nothing, Alexx our butler at villa 61, always friendly and a great help if we had issues throughout our stay and last but not least Fernando at Helios for dinner and Rigo at La Adelita for amazing service and making those meals special and memorable!

Don’t waste your time coming here and definitely DO NOT BUY THE TRAVEL CLUB! When they are trying to get you to be a member they treat you so nicely and tell you all these things you’re going to get. Then every time you come back, their “policies have changed”. They will tell you that the unlimited lobster is no longer a thing. The $100 towards the spa or upgrades, that they confirmed at checkin is only $78 at checkout. When you question it they say that’s not written in the contract and you’re SOL. They will do nothing to right the situation. You’re stuck. The hotels and food aren’t great. Most people that work in the restaurants and pool are great but that’s about it.

Yobani was amazing!!! Super friendly and knowledgeable and helpful and funny. Whole family loved him. Food was fantastic and very filling. We very much had a wonderful experience at La Adalita
