May 22, 2026 Ceremony: Beach Gazebo Reception: Kantenah Beach Coordinator: Aurora Felix / Luz Benavides Package: Tropical Bliss Photography: Gisselle Photography (insta: Gisselle.photography) Hair & Makeup: Palladium Spa (for bridesmaids) 63 guests in total. Overall our wedding at the Grand Palladium was beautiful because of our people. We had quite a few issues and it all came down to having TERRIBLE communication from the resort. Our wedding coordinator, Aurora, ended up either leaving or getting fired about 2 and 1/2 weeks before our wedding. She was the absolute worst to communicate with during the whole 11 months that we were in contact. She quoted us higher than the resort was asking for on quite a few things which we didn’t find out until we got a new coordinator. We got connected to Luz about 3 days before we got to the resort and she still didn’t even email me back once we got connected. After meeting with Luz the day before the wedding, i was hopeful that everything would go as planned since we had met for over an hour and a half about the timeline. Things did not go to plan based off our timeline. They messed up my coordination for picking me up at the spa. I was left waiting with the groom after our first look for over 10 mins while all of our guests were waiting for us. We triple checked the timeline the morning of and Luz confirmed all of the transportation and timeline yet still messed everything up. She messed up the walking formation for the aisle with my bridal party. My maid of honor had to completely take over the job of Luz and she is the ONLY reason why things went how I wanted them to go. She tried to tell my driver that I needed to be driven all the way up to the aisle when I had explicitly said I did not want that. Thank god for the amazing driver. Luz carted all of my guests away from the ceremony after I told her I needed 5 mins to take a large group photo before they left. She left us at the ceremony spot with my bridal party with no water (she had everything carted away with the guests) when she knew we’d planned to take photos outside for at least 30 mins. Luz was an absolute terrible coordinator and if you get her I highly recommend asking for Jorge or Alecriam instead. I would really like to say this only happened because of the late transition between her and Aurora but it wasn’t. I even would like to think there was a language barrier but each of us were bilingual and confirmed everything with her in Spanish and we still had all of these issues. Although there were so many issues with our coordinator the team at the wedding crushed it! We added quite a few things and each of them payed off so well. The Bright Lights package with the resort was well worth it! Our DJ crushed everything. The waiters and bartenders were extremely quick and so so wonderful! Estephanie and her team were amazing. The esquite bar was delicious and such a fun cheap add on to the reception!! An absolute HUGE SHOUTOUT to my photographer and her team! I did not pay the vendor fee but instead added her on to our bridesmaids room (it was WAY cheaper this way). We asked for 3 day passes for the videographers and her assistant. We looked at the resort photos and packages and they really didn’t make us happy as we really wanted wedding footage and Gisselle’s prices were extremely hard to beat. She’s a veteran when working at the Grand Palladium as she has done multiple weddings there before and she knew the prefect spots to do all of our photos. And a huge bonus is she’s the most kind and wonderful human!!! She went above and beyond for my wedding and helped with so much outside of the photos (like helping us get a cart when Luz forgot about us). If you’re looking for more than the basic packages the resort offers I highly recommend her and her amazing team!

The hotel amenities are excellent! We enjoyed our stay in this hotel. We have a very good experience. Staff are all great.

Leydi best waitress at the pool, Sergio makes the best drink, Katrina made sure we had a wonderful stay. All the staff were helpfull and friendly

Excellent service. Leydi is the best server at the pool. She always has a beautiful smile on her face. Sergio makes the best drinks. Karina the concierge is very helpful. She made our stay much more joyful with her little attentions. Bottle of wine and a charcuterie tray. ?? All staff are super friendly, helpful, attentive and cheerful. Awesome vacation ????

Dined twice at the El Dorado steakhouse. The food was excellent. Our waiter Daniel was very attentive making our meals there so enjoyable.
