Excellent experience again here at Catalonia. Tonite we dined in the Italian restaurant Toscana and it was great. Our server Joel was attentive and helpful - really good. The meal was delicious. And this was our second time here on this visit.

Buffet food not great. Wait staff was good. Ala carte restaurants we good but small portions. Bring your own cups for coffee and drinks. Tough to get a chair by the pool. Pool was very scummy by the end of the day (foamy from sunscreen and ????). Be careful when shopping in town. We were charged US dollars instead of pesos!! Beach is ok. Lots of seaweed while we were there but apparently this is only something that happens a couple times a year and they are cleaning it up constantly.
