Wonderful resort

This resort is, in my humble opinion, the nicest one my wife and I have ever stayed at, and we’ve been to many. We liked it so much, we have been more than once. We’ll start with the resort. From the magnificent thatched roof lobby to the one kilometre paved walkway leading to the beach, you are completely surrounded by the most beautifully manicured jungle landscape. It is the most serene one kilometre walk you could take. The rooms are large and spotless. Completely private glass-walled double shower, water closet, double sink vanity and more than enough towels complete a huge washroom. The king size bed is comfortable, a large tv with plenty of American and some Canadian programming is available in the bedroom. The walkout sliding patio door leads to an amazing view of jungle foliage and wildlife. There are 2 large restaurants which, depending on the season and occupancy, are open every day. If it is slow season, the restaurants alternate evening dinners. The food is incredible! There is no other way to say it. There is also a ceviche bar open for lunch which is its own little piece of heaven. The pools are spotless. There is an abundant amount of deck chairs and beach towels are always available and plentiful. The beach is always cleaned of seaweed and the sand is deep and fine. I’ve intentionally left the best for last. The staff. From the minute you arrive to the minute you leave, the staff make every day as stress free and comfortable as possible. You do not want for anything. Special mention to Alajondre and Edwin. Just for being who they are. Hopefully this review helps.
The worst resort I have ever seen in my life !

My vacation was ruined ! Horrible , Horrible , Horrible memory ! I had a panic attack the first night ! From the entrance to the room is just a completely outdated resort . I want to mention that this isn't the staff fault but to blame the management. Advertising is one thing but the reality is the opposite. Just one restaurant functional, murky water in the pool , no fully functioning spa center , no hot water in my room , bumpy parquet floor inside room , the veranda glass sliding door about to collapse on me when I tried to access the terrace . The famous food a la carte was limited and the same every day . We ended up booking 4 nights to a closed by resort at my own expense so I can avoid having a nervous breakdown. Access to a devastated beach is disgusting ,no landscaping at the beach , towels are dumped on a rusted ugly table . No one cares to maintain the facade of the units , rust every corner of each unit ! Missing rails and spindles , trip hazards everywhere. Abandoned commercial spaces , accessible elevators look like was bombarded.
