We just returned from 2 weeks at The Fives Oceanfront Resort. We feel the staff is outstanding! All of the managers made a point of greeting us personally and introducing themselve. Although all of the staff did an excellent job, we would like to give a special shout out to these workers: Jessica, the terrific rooftop bartender with the beautiful smile who made an amazing Reggae Mule, Raquel and Erika, the hostess at the Ro Marley Restaurant, servers Silverio, Mario, Alfonso. Usfra and Dayan from the spa, Omar, Jaimie, Augustin, Alberto, Karina and her Ambassador team, Bruno, who spent time answering our questions and bringing us up to date about the resort.

We just returned from a wonderful week at The Fives Oceanfront. This is a small boutique hotel. Very clean. Great location, short walk into the adorable town of Puerto Morelos. We enjoyed sitting by the beach and listening to the soft reggae music. On Friday, they had a spectacular Mayan Sunset Ritual. The costumes were amazing! On Sunday, they had a seafood grill on the beach and a very good reggae band. The food was excellent, very healthy choices are available. We had the All inclusive package, but this is optional. Our ambassador was Mauricio. He was very helpful and his English is perfect. Our waiters, Silver and Moses were so professional and kind. Jose took care of us at the beach, he was also excellent. The only negative part was the sargassum, sea grass. It was everywhere, even though they worked diligently to remove it. This is certainly no fault of the resort. It seems to be getting worse, all along the coast. Hopefully, it will be better next time. We will certainly be back!
