This is our first time @ H10 brand. My wife is a TA and we were there with some clients. Stayed on the privileged side and it was just okay. The steakhouse was fantastic. The rest of the food was very average including the buffet which was below average. For $1,200 to $1,300 a person you could find a much better place to be honest. There are only two pools. There is no food service near the pool other than a very sub par Mexican restaurant. The beach area is very nice, however, there is little to no wait service on the beach. The 2 rooms we stayed in on the privileged side were very average and have many places where poor repairs have been made. Upon arrival to our "Privilege" room there was a bottle of wine sitting on the table in the "seating" area of our room. The table was very cheap and rickety. The table got bumped and the bottle fell to the floor and broke. We had been in the room less than 5 minutes. We texted our butler immediately and asked for a mop so we could clean it up and were told do not touch it as housekeeping will take care of it right away! 15 minutes later housekeeping showed up and took care of the mess. By this time the wine had run across the entire floor to the sliding door and the curtains that were hanging on the floor soaked in some wine. The next day our butler went to our client's room and told them to tell us that WE needed to go to the privilege office and PAY FOR THE CURTAINS THAT GOT "DAMAGED"! When we spoke to the representative we were told we owed $150.00. After a few minute discussion we were told that they were unable to wash the curtains. We then asked ....so you NEVER wash the curtains? They assured us that they do. We were then told when we asked why they couldn't be washed and the response was they could only wash "dirty" curtains not stained. We asked what the difference was and received a blank stare and were told to speak with the manager in the AM. Next morning back to the office and the Manager told us she would "goodwill us" so we didn't have to pay. 3 days later the curtains were changed and the replacement set was 2" off the floor, hmmm. Very embarrassing to go to our clients and have them relay the message to us! I have now read all the 1-star reviews and wish we had done more research before taking clients to OMR. We have been to Rivera Maya 9 times and this is easily the bottom of that list. If you are reading this please read ALL the 1-star reviews and trust me when I say EVERYTHING that is stated about the rooms, service, food and pool area are 100% true. If you have stayed at other resorts you are not going to be thrilled or impressed here unfortunately.
Great Resort you really feel on vacations.

we have visited Cancun and the Rivera Maya twice a year. for the last 13 years we have stay in several Resorts all Adult only, some have been good and others just ok we just came back for our 3rd time to the resort the week of September 15th and as expected all went great, we are looking forward for March and definably at no time we will book there again.
