The resort is in a beautiful site. I would have given higher rating but I had several nights when I really didn’t get much sleep due to the DJ being so close to my room, which I chose as I wanted an ocean view, if I’d known that the DJ was based right outside I wouldn’t have requested it. I did ask for a move but unfortunately for me the hotel was pretty full. I upgraded to their privilege guests services, for which there are a number of extras. Including beach area which has waiter service, I was very impressed with most of the staff who were friendly and happy to help. My room was kept very clean with all the things you need a large shower room. The food was amazing six restaurants to choose from and food from around the world including an awesome Japanese restaurant where the chef cooks every in front of you, the Mexican food was just like nothing I’d tasted better delicious. Just a pitty that the “Mayan” restaurant only opens one day a week on a Thursday unfortunately due to the timing of my holiday I was unable to try it

I highly recommend the Ocean Maya Royale Resort for an unforgettable getaway! The resort strikes the perfect balance—not too big, so it feels intimate and easy to navigate, yet packed with everything you could need for a fantastic vacation. The food is exceptional, with plenty of variety to satisfy any craving. Every meal felt like a treat, and the quality truly stood out. One of the highlights of our stay was the entertainment team. They are lively, engaging, and made every day so much fun. A special shoutout to Kenndall, whose magnetic energy was simply contagious. He truly made our trip unforgettable. Oswin is a phenomenal dance teacher—patient, talented, and so much fun to learn from. And Gracie’s kindness and warmth added an extra touch of joy to our experience. Whether you’re looking to relax or enjoy vibrant activities, Ocean Maya Royale has it all. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!
