Fabulous stay at the Royalton splash

Stayed here during the Easter holidays & loved every second. Beautiful & clean resort with a great atmosphere. The app to book restaurants was easy & we always got a reservation for 7:30/8pm. The restaurants were a bit hit & miss. Our favourites were Ma Maison, the Cave & Zen. Grazie was good most of the time. I think Rio is great for those that eat a lot of meat - we don’t but what we did try when we went there, was tasty. The drink choices were good & Shaken bar , made the best drinks. The sun lounger situation is real. I’ve not experienced anything like it in Mexico before. Luckily being from England & jet lagged I was awake super early so I always got a lounger by 6:15am. I made the most of being up early & watched the sunrise each day. We met so many friendly Americans & Canadians. This really was the highlight for us. So thank you to those who we met. Obviously you can’t control nature but we were lucky enough to not have seaweed for a week! It was beautiful in the water. When seaweed did wash in, the staff did their best to clear it up. I’d recommend this hotel to those that want a fun filled holiday. I didn’t even read a book as so much going on around us & new friends made. The staff were also wonderful. It’s the busiest of resorts we have visited. (This being our 5th). Over 3000 were here on one week. But the staff manage it all very well. My only tiny gripe is, I wasn’t able to watch Liverpool FC play once! ??With it being 8am kick off Mexican time, nobody was around to turn the large screen on, & the Sports bar wasn’t open either. So if you like football, you may want to find another solution to watching it. Top tip - bring Damp Rid. Best advice we were given a few years back. The packs really did suck all the moisture from the room which makes a huge difference. Anyway, if you are heading here soon, enjoy. View from Room 12729 in the video. Our stay was fantastic! No complaints from our family at all. We loved everything and we were treated amazingly by the staff. Our butlers Clarisa and Jonny went above and beyond to make sure that our stay was comfortable and we were taken care of. While everyone was super amazing to us, special shout out to Clarisa for making sure our stay was an amazing one. She is top notch and highly recommended. We will miss her. Also, special thanks for the amazing service from Omar, Miguel and Paola.
