Iberostar Selection Paraiso Lindo wows its guests with its stunning Mexican-style architecture and decor, including tall metal palm trees with coconut lanterns in the lobby, a reception desk with a backdrop of an altar of a Spanish church, and the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel in one of the resort's best restaurants, El Museo.
Our man Cristobal hooked us up with some of his favorite shots without being asked. He was entertaining and the shots were mucho delicioso. All the bartenders are great! I have been here for a couple years in a row and love it

We have traveled to the Iberostar Paraiso several times. We have stayed at the Beach, Lindo and Maya. This is the only resort we will travel to; we have visited others and they were only "ok". If there is a problem that should arise, as problems inevitebly do they are SO fast to fix it and make things right.
Not only are the grounds immaculate and perfectly groomed, but the food is really good too. I am compelled to write this review because I know that you can find beautiful grounds and good food at many different resorts, but what makes this the best place to be and our only option for travel are the PEOPLE that work there. They are amazing. They are what adds the icing to the cake for this place to be a lot better than other resorts. I am always happy to arrive, and sad to leave when it is time to go home.
Where all of the employees that work there are wonderful, I feel I need to give a shout out to those who have gone way above and beyond to ALWAYS make our trips amazing.
Here they are:
In the Club office area PePe G. is a genuine great guy that I feel very comfortable talking to. Others in the office that are worth mentioning are Fabrizio, Tom, and Paul.
In the members area at the Maya Lobby, there is Joao and Santiago that I always look forward to seeing. This last trip the bartender in the Club bar was Ivan-he is also great!
At the beach in the members area there is Neri and Isaac (5 stars) and also wonderful are Daniel, Octavio and Hugo.

Manuel P. (dinner waiter at the Gourmet, Mexican, and Lemon and Spices restaurant and also at the lunch buffet)

Arturo (chef at the Japanese restaurant) he put on a great show!
Luis (waiter at the Italian restaurant)
Eduardo (waiter at lunch at Under the Sea)
And last but not least, Charly (Quesadilla area at breakfast) he was always so pleasant and polite.
I am sure there are people that we missed, but my point in naming all of these wonder people is if you choose this resort you won't be sorry,
This is my very favorite place to be.
