I wanted to start off by saying, Pamela at the front desk went out of her way to be sure we got to check in early and rest before the wedding we were attending! The hotel was perfect for our trip, conveniently located, and clean!! Thank you again, Pamela for being so kind and helpful!

Stadd was extremely friendly and helpful, Special shout out to Pamela at the front desk, her smile and helpful nature made the entore business trip a real pleasure. I highly reccomend the Handlery San Diego.

I've been to this hotel since it was the Stardust. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. Restaurant and Reef pool bar just excellent! Great for family, weddings or business meetings. The desk staff, especially Pamela who seemed to be on duty 24/7, took care of us as if we were family. She should get a big raise!!

We arrived late due to flight delay. Staff had no knowledge of our booking. Then they kept saying we had already stayed. Until my husband had pointed out they were reading date wrong. Found staff to be very rude . Room was very dirty, In the laundry room was a stack of dirty plates these were left for a few days. We had to get luggage down stone steps ourselves. The building is very out of date and old. Not a pleasant stay and certainly will never return.

Pamela was great, very pleasant to speak with on phone & in person, but my room had "ANTs" on the bed and lodging capacity full, so decided to leave for dinner while they sprayed, I returned 3hrs later to a slight peppermint smell and seemingly no Ants, overnight tossing and continually wiping face and neck I awoken to more Ants and bites.., Pamela apologized for inconvenience and tried to rectify the situation also stating that I should call "HOPPER" to have them refund (online booking service & if theres a problem they want you to pay for customer service). Hopper would NOT refund, they offered a $38. Voucher good to use on my next stay.., Unacceptable!!!
