WOnderful stay at Mission Pacific

Stayed 4 nights over Labor Day wknd. This was our 2nd visit to the propery (first visit was Labor Day wknd in 2023). Hotel upgraded us prior to arrival (Globalist member), which was unexpected since it was at capacity over a holiday wknd. Hotel also provided a champagne bottle in the room to surprise my wife immediately b4 arrival, which required some coordination given we flew into San Diego and had to drive up to the property. Hotel was very clean, incl the bathroom. Bed was very comfortable. Rooms were quiet after dusk so I think there is good insulation b/w all the rooms. It is pet friendly yet we didn't see the side effects of pets being on the property, which means management was attentive to keeping everything tidy. All staff were extremely courteous and friendly. Food and drinks on property were excellent. We did the rooftop bar a few times. While there may be some sticker shock on the drinks menu, you get excellent value (and then some). We tried all sorts of food (sandwich, tuna tar-tare, carrot hummus, cheese board, etc.). Ate breakfast across the street at The Seabird (sister Hyatt property). Breakfast was menu during the week, buffet on the weekend. Food at both properties was fresh & delicious. Hotel invoice was 100% accurate at checkout...I noted this b/c as a Globalist, we get free parking + free breakfast; other properties often overlook some of the amenities. Looking forward to visit #3 sometime in the future.

This hotel is my favorite hotel in SoCal. The location is perfect, the rooms clean and beautiful, the Globalist perks were amazing!
