Beds aren’t comfy, small rooms, no microwave. Really excellent restaurant though with fantastic waiting staff.
Overpriced
ATL-Traveler95 (Atlanta, Georgia) on Apr 20, 2024
The resort is beautiful and tranquil. Tropical paradise in a big city. The rooms are appointed nicely, but the biggest flaw, and turnoff for future visits is the value. For $250+ per night, plus $40 resort fees, and $40 parking, the price is WAY too much. The rooms are worn down, and dozens of wall patches, and paint coverups are obvious. Our toilet seat, and TP holder were falling off the entire stay. Our group had 7 rooms, and not one room was issue free. From AC's unable to maintain 71° room temps, no hot water, and moldy coffee makers, this hotel is just not worth the money. Charging $40 for parking PER night because it's "the industry standard" is a new way of just price gouging. The respite is not secure, and the island is FILLED with transients and people living in their automobiles. There is nothing stopping someone from entering the property and taking your "assigned" parking space. No security, or anything as well The wedding people were amazing, and staff was extremely friendly. Overall, the value isn't there when considering the price. We left the resort after 2 nights to enjoy another property with better value. Will not return until many of the issues are addressed.
