San Francisco Union Square

Wonderful hotel and wonderful staff. Location of the hotel is perfect if you want everything nearby. Breakfast buffet was nice when we compared it with other United States hotels. Staff were friendly and that is always a nice touch. Some protests were going on outside all hotels at that time but protesters never ever bothered anyone. Will we stay again here absolutely yes

Perfect Location and Excellent Service

Shengshi W on Apr 14, 2025

The hotel’s location is fantastic, with easy access to all the main attractions. As a Platinum member, I was warmly welcomed by Kelly at check-in, who greeted us with a smile and upgraded our room to a junior suite on a high floor after multiple searches. The room was cozy and offered a beautiful city view. Though we missed the evening happy hour, the breakfast the next morning was quite good and offered a nice variety. The service here was significantly better than my experience at the Westin Union Square where I stayed two years ago. At the Westin, despite having an approved late checkout, the housekeeper discarded my belongings, and they were never recovered. That was an awful experience, and the service at the Westin left a lot to be desired. In contrast, Marriott truly impressed me, and if you’re planning to visit San Francisco, this is the place to stay.
