Twin centre Blue Bag Break

elaaug (Birmingham, United Kingdom) on Feb 12, 2025

Lovely Break at this motel/hotel. This place was not luxury but the staff were all amazing and friendly. Shawn and Arnold were wonderful and couldn’t do enough for you. Deborah the Manager was always on hand to help with any issues that we had.

Exceeded our expectations for what we paid !

CAROLINEM111 (Andover, United Kingdom) on Feb 09, 2025

We had a great stay, and it exceeded our expectations. We knew it was a 3* and you need to understand that prior to booking. We loved the intimacy of this hotel, the drinks, Piton bottled beer and good quality wine and cocktails. Rooms were large and had 2 double beds which were comfy, large walk in showers, yes they were tired, but were clean.Food was ok, we enjoyed the breakfast ( you can request omelettes which were delicious), the pizza at lunch was nice and the BBQ night food was good too. Service could be slow, but that was due to a couple of staff members most were attentive. Debra the Ops Manager was very helpful. Hotel is a short walk to Rodney Bay Marina (there is a supermarket there) the hotel also provides a free shuttle bus to 2 other hotels one is AI, but the beach one isn’t but you can charge to your room. However the hotel loan you a cool bag that you can fill with beer, cider, Guinness and soft drinks and they provide a packed lunch. The beach is beautiful we loved it there and you are provided beds FOC ! We met some fabulous people, we all participated in the Karaoke night. Go with an open mind and enjoy the intimacy and friendly environment this small hotel provides and you will not be disappointed. Shout out to Shaun and Arnold they offered brilliant service and cocktails in the small outside bar!

Jacq_Taylor1974uk (Birmingham, United Kingdom) on Feb 09, 2025

Oct 15/30th Flight was smooth, security and customs was pleasant and easy transition The minibus to the hotel, had better days it was hot the ride was pretty rough, but the views was epic. The guide/driver was knowledgeable and patient We got to bay garden’s marina just prior to sunset we had a ground floor room, pool view (technically) but the bar was 30 steps away Food was good and hot, sometimes you did have a wait as not buffet, but was fresh and 99.9% delicious Drinks was actually good when the bar opened at 11am sometimes 12. Seans drinks was sometimes crazy but good The room was clean and kept well, sometimes short of towels but housekeeping sorted it The free beach shuttle service was good we spent alot of time there as sadly no shade at marina, The beach was lovely and friendly and most lovals was respectful and not beggy Trips the friday night party was great fun, the rum punch was strong the food was fab and vibe was brilliant The rum factory a great few hours out Creole day was great to join in and spend time with locals dancing drinking and eating Would we go again YES

3 stars but worth a visit

Melanie L on Feb 08, 2025

This is a 3 star hotel with 35 rooms which means it’s more personal than larger 100+ room hotels. Our room and bathroom were spacious, airy, comfortable and very clean and were fully equipped with a kettle, fridge, TV, USB charging point, iron and board and a safe. The bathroom had shampoo, conditioner, body wash, soap, hand lotion and an hairdryer. The outside gardens are beautifully maintained with a small but good outdoor bar. The pool is quite small with only a dozen sun loungers but most people go to the beach at the sister hotel on the shuttle bus (about a 10 minute journey depending on traffic). The food is ok, sometimes a buffet, sometimes a set menu. The waiting staff have obviously been well trained in silver service. As the numbers being catered for are very small, don’t expect giant salad bars or big tables of desserts. It would have been nice to have more fresh food such as salads as main courses, but generally it was all quite acceptable. Certainly there are a few things that can be improved, mainly maintenance type of things for example the shower curtain bar was a bit rusty and the floor of the (enormous) shower needed re grouting. The balcony had rusty spots in the paintwork, but did any of this affect my holiday? No. The hotel chain must have a big maintenance team so it wouldn’t take much to sort these things out. I did read the negative reviews and feel they have probably been made by people expecting 5 star facilities for 3 star prices. Even though a few improvements could be made, this little 3 star hotel is punching well above its weight and means that you can afford a holiday in the Caribbean if you’re watching the penni
