Best, hands down!

Serenity was everything I hoped it would be from start to finish. We found the coconut bay kiosk and he got us a driver within 15 minutes, I think. I was a little disappointed, not that 15 minutes is that long but elsewhere that I've had private transportation to the resort, the driver was there and we left for the resort immediately. The only other possible negative about our experience would be the mosquitos. Having said that, mosquitos were the worst at dusk, and the resort provides repellent and after bite treatment. Back to the resort; it was only 10 or so minutes from the airport to the resort. I was a little afraid the resort would be noisy with the airport being so close but it was not. Upon arrival we were greeted by Ali. She was not our butler, but she greeted us with a smile, cool towels, and coconuts. After verifying that we drink alcohol, she added some island rum. The spiked coconuts were delicious. Ali, took us around the resort, which doesn't take long as it is a boutique resort, and we ended in our room where we completed the check-in process. Check-in was very easy. Ali told us that our butler Kimberly would be by to introduce herself. Previously I had spoken to Kimberly on the phone. Kimberly ensured our wet bar was stocked with watermelon juice, strawberry margaritas, and Peton beer. The beer was pretty good by the way. Also I forgot to mention we were there from Friday Dec 6 - Friday Dec 13. Friday the 6th we were very tired from getting up at 3am so we stayed at our room enjoying our private pool and room service. Room service was exceptional, this was our 10th resort and room service was the best by far! We pretty much spent Saturday and Sunday at our room as well. The butlers brought us more drinks and restocked our wet bar. Serenity is the most appropriate name for this resort, our room and outside area felt like our private oasis and it was incredible. I forgot to mention, Kimberly had a bath ran for us upon our arrival and we took advantage of that, it was very nice. Sunday we had in room massages, Gabina and Clee took great care of us and Gabina gave me the best massage I've ever experienced! I wish I could have brought her to the states, she's that good! Monday we did our excursion which took us through town site seeing and getting great pics, to a volcano, waterfall, and mud bath. The best part of this is we had a private driver, he was awesome, taking pictures for us and at the conclusion of our excursion activities took us to a local beach; it was beautiful! We also had pool and beach cabanas while we were there and our butler, Kimberly took such great care of us. At our cabanas, she already had coolers there, and they were stocked and the drinks were cold. When we went to the beach she ensured we had our "butler phone" and told us to call her when we wanted lunch and she would take care of whatever we wanted. By the way, and sorry this is out of order, upon check-in we received our butler phone. It's pre-programmed with our butler's number, assistant butler's number, room service, pillow service, and I'm probably leaving something off. The butler phone was a great touch and whoever we called was incredibly nice and very responsive. The food is amazing! The great house provided incredible service and as I said, the food was amazing! We also went to the Jerk House at Coconut Bay. The food there is also amazing! A great perk of this resort is we could order off of other restaurants' menus and it would be delivered to our room for dinner. I'm here to tell you the other restaurants are also incredibly good. I compare the food at Serenity and Coconut Bay to going to a nice restaurant here in the States. I want to particularly recognize Kimberly our butler for just simply being amazing. Taisha, I believe also a butler delivered our room service and she was so incredibly sweet, Ali, the butler who checked us in, she made such a great first impression, made us feel so welcome, and always at least said hi and spoke with us a little when she saw us. Ethan, another butler, I don't remember the day, but it was early on and we didn't realize we needed to make a reservation for dinner and we didn't have our butler phone; we stopped him for guidance and he just took care of making our dinner reservation - he didn't have to do that, thank you Sir! Kevin, one of the bar tenders - what a great dude! He was always so welcoming and before I left he felt like a long time friend. Charles, another bar tender. Fantastic dude, so welcoming, so good at doing his job. One night I was just not sure what I wanted, so I asked Charles to make me something light. He made me a mango mojito; it was perfect! In closing, I apologize for this review being all over the place. For me and my wife, Serenity is the best place out of 10 different resorts that we've visited and it's not close. I'm aggravated with myself because I can't remember the names of the other bar tenders, but I'm here to tell you, they were all fantastic. There's even a book at the bar listing the drink different bar tenders created! The bar also has a drink menu that's at least 5 pages. Lastly the manager, Chris Chin, made sure to see us off on our last day. I saw him around during my visit, interacting with the staff. He also, was very nice and welcoming. The staff as a whole made us feel like Serenity was a second home and whatever we wanted no matter how little was a priority. I'm very thankful to the Serenity staff for the best vacation I've ever experienced. For reference below are the other resorts we have visited. I'm not saying any of the were bad, because they were all very nice also. Serenity for me is just the best and it's not a close race. 1. Sun Palace Cancun 2.Secrets the Vine Cancun 3. Dreams Play Mujeres 4. Majestic Mirage DR - we've visited twice 5. TRS Turquesa 6. TRS Yukatan 7. Couples Tower Isle Jamaica 8.Iberostar DR
What a place!

We just got back from our week-long honeymoon at Serenity and can honestly say this was the most luxurious and most relaxing vacation either of us have ever taken. A big reason why we chose Serenity was how well-reviewed it is on TripAdvisor, and the reviews are not wrong. Above everything else, the service was incredible. The staff (especially our wonderful butlers Davidson and Ali) went above and beyond to take care of everything we wanted, and even a few things we didn't even know that we wanted. Davidson helped us schedule all parts of the Grand Romance package, all of our dinners, multiple massages, and extra excursions so we didn't have to stress about anything. Both butlers made sure our suite was stocked with exactly what we wanted beverage-wise, and gave us rides on the golf cart whenever we needed. Housekeeping and turndown service left little notes with new towel animals and rose petals on our beds every day. Greathouse restaurant staff and the pool bar staff were amazing. Everyone was friendly and attentive without being intrusive at all. We opted not to eat at the Coconut Bay restaurants and did not regret it at all. The food at the Greathouse is excellent. Every time we walked through Coconut Bay, it seemed way too busy compared to Serenity. The property is very well-maintained and clean. Our room was very serene and offered ultimate privacy within our fenced-in space. The pool and pool cabanas are very nice, not too crowded, and super relaxing. We loved the beach cabana experience so much, we opted to rent it for two additional half days. Our butlers stocked the cooler in our beach cabana with the beverages we wanted, and they brought our lunch to the cabana as well. Everything we wanted was just a phone call away. The expansive white beach (especially on the end of the beach where the beach cabanas and surf house is) is picturesque and quiet - we actually preferred it to the busier boat-and-tourist-filled small beaches we saw on the Caribbean side. The waves are calm and the water is warm. There is a little bit of sargassum on the sand, but the staff clears it off of the beach with a tractor multiple times per day. The amount of sargassum in the water can vary day to day, but it was it was mostly clear when we went and didn't prevent us from swimming at all. The areas in front of the beach cabanas and surf house seem to be the clearest. Getting out to see beautiful St. Lucia is a must. We enjoyed the Pitons Sail and Snorkel excursion, the ATV Tour, and the Private Chauffered Island Tour, which included the drive-in volcano, mudbaths, and waterfall. All in all, Serenity is a special place. We are grateful to all the staff for making our honeymoon such a memorable one.
St. Lucian island escape

After doing our research and reading many reviews, my husband and I decided to stay at Serenity at Coconut Bay in St. Lucia. There were several factors involved in our choice and we are happy to say that we did in fact make the right choice. Things we were looking for were an Adults Only Resort, Great Service, Food/Drinks, location/views, and amenities. Serenity is an all-inclusive, adults only resort, that includes a personal butler during your stay. This alone was eye-catching when doing our research. Our butler, McCarthy, was very welcoming, even days before our arrival. He called to talk through some things and literally greeted us with open arms (and champagne) when we arrived. He scheduled our entire itinerary including excursions, cabanas, dinners and activities. We didn’t have to plan a thing. He always had a genuine smile on his face and was happy to help us with any request we had. He often threw in some nice surprises during our stay which we always appreciated and enjoyed. The other staff members were also very friendly and accommodating. The butlers, housekeeping staff, servers and bartenders, groundskeepers and event staff, were always certain to greet you with a salutation and a smile. It’s simply the “St. Lucian Way”. 1. Accommodations - Serenity offered each guest a villa with a private plunge pool, outdoor shower, hammock, and stocked wet/mini bar. The rooms were clean and roomy with an immense outdoor space. We, not being huge excursion people, loved our outdoor space and used it daily. Though none of the villas have a view from the room we did have extreme privacy with a stone wall and palm trees to forego the bathing suits that we had packed. ;) For the views, we simply walked 30 steps down the path to the pool or 2 min across to the beach to get the scenic views of St. Lucia. 2. Property - The property was extremely well kept and clean. When walking to the Greathouse (restaurant) and pool, it felt as though you were walking through the rainforest. We thoroughly enjoyed the beach cabanas that contained an outdoor shower, stocked cooler, and an actual mattress on a swinging platform for relaxing. Serenity, as its name suggests, offered a more serene environment, while still offering several fun activities for its guests. While on the other side of the property, Coconut Bay has more family friendly activities. There is so much to offer between both sides of the property. Often we remained at Serenity but who doesn’t love a run down a water slide or a float around a lazy river now and again? Plus one of our favorite lunch spots, the Jerk Treehouse. 3. Food - The food at Serenity is fantastic. Most of our meals were had at the Greathouse at Serenity but we also enjoyed room service and frequented the Jerk Treehouse at Coconut Bay for lunch. 4. Location - Located 6 min from the airport by car, we thought it would be a bit noisy, however, there were only a few flights per day that we heard and it was fun to watch the small private and commercials jets land and depart. Some of the other resorts were 45 min (Jade Mountain and Sugar Bay) to 1.5 hours from the airport (the North - more popular destination). We enjoyed that within 30 min of landing we were able to be plunging in the plunge pool with drink in hand. 5. Activities- If booking a 7 or more night stay, there are several activities that are included that were not included at other resorts. We aren’t usually into doing excursions but are glad we experienced these on our first trip to this island. 1. Visited an active but dormant volcano, Hot Spring mud bath, Waterfall and Botanical gardens (4-5 hour island tour), 2. Sunset cruise. If you aren’t into the smell of sulfur, maybe skip the mud bath. We were glad to have done it - and are hoping it takes the 10 years off our age as legend says. Other inclusions were an In-Villa couples massage, Pool Cabana 5 course dinner, Free Pool Canana for a day, and our favorite- free Beach cabana for a day. Laundry service was also included. Things I would do differently next time: I would ask to get a list of all activities and work with your butler to align the activities based on your choices. We liked what McCarthy had selected for us but some may want to choose their own prior to arrival. You are able to change your itinerary when you get there as well. We loved everything about our stay and am sure others will too!

Great all-inclusive resort. The serenity area is secluded from the rest of Coconut Bay with only 36 rooms, private pool, separate restaurant and designated beach cabanas. The rooms were very nice and quiet. The inclusions were worth the money (Food, Drinks, Room Service, Butler service, Laundry service etc.). The food was good, but not great. The spa services were okay, but the in-room massage was wonderful. We loved the pool and beach cabanas. Our butler McCarthy was wonderful. We had a designated mobile phone used to call out butler or room service. Our butler kept our mini fridge stocked with our favorite drinks. The shower did not get hot and the in-room pool was not heated (it was VERY cold).

Serenity at Coconut Bay is perfect. From the moment we arrived, we were taken care of by the attentive staff. Shout out to McCarthy, our butler for 5 of the 6 days. He took care of everything before we could even think to ask. One instance, we went for the Land and Sea excursion which includes a visit to the sulfer baths. When we came back to our room, a bath had been drawn so we could bathe the sulfer smell off of us. The same thing was done after we took a hike up a mountain. He went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of, not lacking in ANYTHING! As a mother and wife, it was really SO great to have someone take the reigns and be cared for. Keisha was our butler the day McCarthy was off, and she was as sweet and attentive as anyone could ask for. We loved seeing her throughout the trip to wave and say hi. The bartender Ray is such a charismatic guy, truly a ray of sunshine. Zabby (she led the painting class at the bar) was HILARIOUS and really fun to spend time with! Kevin keeps the party going as he hosts the special events, and so many more smiles from the rest of the staff. It's surprising to feel such genuine connections with everyone, so much so that we plan on coming back to visit and look forward to seeing them all again. The resort is so clean, like Disneyland standards (iykyk). I saw one piece of trash on the ground the whole week. The landscaping is lush, pruned nicely, no brown or dying leaves in sight. The food at Serenity is much better than the average resort. The chefs outdo themselves with dishes filled with flavor. I am a foodie, and I thought I would be going over to Coconut Bay more often for some variety, but it wasn't needed. We ate every meal but 2 at the Greathouse. The private plunge pool was dreamy. The whole suite was perfect. We had a private taxi for the day, and really, I just wanted to be back at the resort, which is very unlike me. Usually I am out exploring until I am exhausted, but I just wanted to be on the gorgeous resort grounds. The water is clean and drinkable, with high standards for the city water. The beach has a breeze so it's never hot. The one very small critique is that the spa is not warm enough. It is just a tad warmer than room temp, so it would have been nice to sit in the warm bubbles for a while. But I understand why it would be cooler than normal, the weather is perfect, so it's kind of not needed, lol. All in all, stop searching. Come to Serenity at Coconut Bay.
