Issues with check in and multiple charges, trash left in room from previous guest, no toilet paper in either bathroom, roach in shower and kitchen counter, elevators out of service as well as the tiki bar and no response from motel about our stay.

Skip this place. Needs cleaning and pest control. We stayed the weekend. Suite was not particularly clean but could have probably overlooked that if not for the roaches. Realize this area has had a rough go of it this year, but if you are open and renting rooms, it is reasonable to expect that they will be free of bugs. This place has clearly let maintenance go, and the housekeeping standards are obviously lax. Furniture and surfaces were stained and dirty (living room couch and stove surface). Stay away.

I booked a weekend with my family here because of the location of being close to Madeira beach but I will not return at all. The maintenance and cleanliness of the apartment is totally disappointing, disgusting. Our bed was broken underneath. The bathroom and shower were disgusting with mold stains. The HVAC filter was 100% clogged with dirt and we got sick. Obviously no one supervises these apartments, much less the employees who do the cleaning. I do not recommend Sunset Vistas unless it is through an Airbnb rental.

Stayed at the Sunset Vistas from 7/18-7/21, total of 3 nights. Stayed in 1 room with family (total of 4 people). Total price was over $1800. This price was ridiculous. Over $300 per night per couple. NO maid service. No clean towels. No garbage emptied. 2nd bedroom had full size bed, no queen. TV in 2nd bedroom was 19". No "guide" on TV remotes, took forever to find a channel. Shower water pressure was non-existent. Room was in much need of upgrade. Pool was overcrowded with kids screaming and splashing. Entire premises needed upgrade. Would not recommend to anyone. Look elsewhere. Would NEVER stay there again.

It was wonderful. The condo was so nice, and looked out over the beach. It was clean and everyone employed there were pleasant to us. It was perfect for our family. We were with three generations. White beaches, cleanliness, hospitality. What more could you want?
