Great staff, quiet rooms

DiveProf (Bath, Canada) on Dec 02, 2024

Well done folks! Our second stay at this property. Your staff is friendly, efficient and anticipatory. The rooms are clean and spacious. Room design - the suite with the sliding bedroom door and wall that doesn't go to the ceiling - It's fine for a single guest, but any noise from the restroom or living room carries if a second guest sleeps in. Nice kitchenette in this suite however. Location is close to the LRT, downtown and Gastown. Good food and service in the restaurant; lots of coffee spots nearby. See you next time!

Meh! Underwhelming

Stephenie B (Bellevue, Washington) on Nov 08, 2024

My recent stay at Delta Suites Vancouver left me disappointed and underwhelmed. I stayed on the 21st floor, where my room had a deck that might be nice in the summer, but during the winter, it’s just wasted space. It made the room feel cramped and awkward, with little room for anything else. The decor throughout was drab and lacked any character—very plain and not appealing at all. Immediately outside the hotel, you have to contend with numerous homeless individuals, some of whom aggressively panhandle, which adds an uncomfortable experience as you enter and exit. The breakfast was once a highlight of staying here, but they’ve changed the menu, and it’s now extremely disappointing with nothing that stands out or feels worthwhile. This was a sad letdown. On top of that, I had an issue with my bathroom door and had to call twice before it was finally addressed. Basic maintenance should not require multiple follow-ups. All in all, my experience was lackluster, and I won’t be coming back.
