Situated in downtown and close to the harbour. This hotel was clean and housekeeping was excellent. The breakfast was excellent and we also had a lovely dinner. The servers in the restaurant were top notch. The reception staff were v helpful.
Excellent stay

I feel like customer service has decreased in the US post Covid, but not here in this convenient Vancouver hotel. Everyone was professional and friendly. I am just getting ready to check out after a 2 night stay. We had a great stay. The accommodations were nice with a quiet sleeping area, a great desk for work, two good sized TVs, a decent sized bathroom, decent coffee pods, two bottles of water daily, chocolate, cookies at check in, plenty of outlets, a lovely housekeeper, and a great onsite restaurant. We had dinner at the onsite restaurant our first night and apps and happy hour drinks on our second night. Everything was really tasty. The servers/bartender were all friendly and worked hard. Excellent customer service. This hotel is located very close to Canada place. I honestly think you could walk to both Canada place and the train station with your luggage if you wanted to. We saw many families doing just that. There is a Tim Horton's nearby. The only negative is I saw is the hotel's location is just on the edge of an area with a lot of homeless people. We found a few people sleeping outside of the hotel (or passed out) on several occasions. Still, I felt safe. I would have booked this hotel for my return from my cruise, but the price was too high. I would stay here again. I do love Marriott properties and I'm glad Vancouver had this choice.
