This is a wonderful resort for couples, families, or even a solo retreat. Lots of space to roam and things to do. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The resort is open for business. I didn't see anything closed. Mask are required in public spaces but this resort is so large there are plenty of places to walk to be alone and mask can be removed if social distanced outside. I had a corner king room With three balconies.. One balcony was off of the bathroom. The room was very clean. It had everything i could ever want. Coffee maker and huge tv. Since my corner room was towards the front side of the hotel, i didn't have best views but still private and nice. ( i would stay in room again but i imagine The back side corners rooms have a better pool and water/resort views. ) The pool areas are laid out so you don't feel on top on each other. The fire pits at night are nice. Don't miss walking down the boardwalk to the boat ferry and visit their private island. The island is great. White sand and a nice boat ride. you may see dolphins along the way. If you go to the island, pack a lunch or snack and bring towels and drinks. There are lounge chairs and clean bathrooms but not much else. Very relaxing. Lots of family activities and the food is good. I recommend the pool bar's Burgers with inhouse made plantain chips. Amazing. I will visit again. I travel about 280 days a year and this is one of my favorite hotels.

We had an amazing time at the Hyatt’s beautiful resort , the customer service was outstanding! Great food, loved the private island beach and the lazy river. The views from the suites were priceless. Highly recommend

If hearing that the “beach access” you pay a premium to have is on a private island without amenities or transportation scares you, don’t visit here. We also had a hard time eating anywhere and room service was not functioning... so the entire stay was a waste of money. As soon as we got to the room with the loudly clicking air conditioner I requested a refund and was denied. Never again, such a disappointment.

No masks and music until 10pm

This hotel hosted maskless events two nights in a row, a wedding and a prom, on both nights of our visit. Dj music was so loud outside our room that we couldn't put the kids to bed, or enjoy the room we were paying $1200/night for, until after 10pm. After the first night, we asked and were told there would be no event the second night -- which was a lie. Management replied to concern about the maskless events by saying they were also nervous, and didn't have the staff to enforce the mask mandate.
