Lovely Stay in Anaheim

Juliette1966 (Worthing, United Kingdom) on May 11, 2024

Lovely spacious rooms and one of our rooms had a clear view of the Disneyland park and fireworks. It’s about a 15-20 min walk to the parks and GardenWalk is about 10 mins away with its restaurants, shops and cinema. The hotel has a lovely pool of a decent size with a hot tub. The only minor drawback were the car parking fees of $30/day which we thought were a bit steep.

The best experience from Elizabeth at the SunCoast hotel in anaheim California

OSCAR L (Chula Vista, California) on May 07, 2024

I was given a ghost reservation from Expedia to the Element Hotel in Anaheim. Upon our arrival we were told the hotel had been sold out since the week prior. They would not be able to accommodate my family and we could not stay there. They offered to call near by hotels to see if anyone had a room , thankfully Elizabeth worked that evening and made sure my family and I were taken care of. I can not thank her enough for the hostility and attention to detail from her. She was a true blessing had it not been for her my family and I would of slept in the car on the street , because the element couldn’t even offer us the lobby seats until we would find a place to stay.. they made it clear I needed to leave because as the young put it , it wad y their fault therefore they didn’t feel as if he had to do anything to help us out.

My favorite hotel

boogieshew on May 06, 2024

We go to SunCoast a few times a year, not only for the pool, but for the service as well. We stumbled upon this hotel when we were Disney pass holders, the hotel is walkable to the park and we really liked how friendly the workers were. Now, 3 years later, this hotel is our go to for a staycation. When you walk into the hotel it is very clean, and smells like vacation. They have a bar to the right and the front desk is on the left. Next to the front desk is a small shop to get the necessities. They have snacks, candy, otc meds, drinks, ice cream and of course adult beverages. They also have quite of bit of Disney merchandise as well. The rooms are spacious, equipped with a refrigerator and microwave. We were lucky enough to stay in their family suite with a trundle bed and bean bags, a special treat that our kids absolutely adore. They enjoy the cozy feeling of relaxation, making them feel like they are truly on vacation. One of the highlights of SunCoast is its pool. I particularly love how the shallow end is only 2.5 feet deep, creating a safe and enjoyable area for my 4-year-old to play and feel included. The pool is generously sized, ensuring that even when it's crowded, there is still plenty of space for everyone to enjoy!

Third time's the charm

LalaFromSF (San Francisco, California) on May 02, 2024

This was the third hotel I've stayed at in Anaheim, and I finally found a hotel to love! When I arrived, Ellie Lopez greeted me at the front desk; she was kind and friendly, and I immediately felt welcome. That welcoming feeling continued throughout my stay. At one point, I left my room wearing my slippers, because I felt so at home. I appreciate that the hotel has a laundry room. When I was there, there were two washers and two dryers, and there was no cost to use the machines (just make sure you have your own soap). I enjoyed chatting with other hotel guests while doing laundry. It took me a while to find the safe in my room; it turned out to be under the bathroom sink. I was initially not able to get the safe to lock, but calling the front desk got a helpful and professional staff member to the room, and he quickly fixed the safe. There is a stop nearby for the Anaheim Regional Transportation bus. There is an app for the bus, and you can purchase a pass; I purchased a five-day pass. It was fairly useful, since the bus goes in a loop to Disneyland; but when I was there it didn't run all that often, and I couldn't always tell when it would arrive. It was still useful, though; but Disneyland is about a fifteen-minute walk, so I easily walked to the park in the morning. Ellie Lopez was a treat to talk with when she was working the front desk; and all of the staff I met at the SunCoast were very nice. I will definitely be back to the SunCoast!

Walk to Disneyland

LisaKGC (Gold Coast, Australia) on May 02, 2024

Was really impressed with the standard of this hotel. The 24hr Marketplace is a great place to get water and snacks and the lobby is a casual and comfortable place to stop and rest. The rooms are large and clean. Didn’t take cash which was annoying. The sliding door to the bathroom didn’t provide the best privacy but was fine. Staff were great. The price point at this time was really good and definitely value for money. We walked back after park close and it was safe and had lots of other people and families walking around this area too so we felt safe.
