Long time super fan of Cabo and a fan of Tesoro...was here in August and had no issues but this 5 day trip....not so much! After telling the hotel that I didn't have hot water from day one, it took until 15 minutes before check out to have the problem fixed. I told the front desk "everyday" that the water was not hot and it was never resolved. Today when I checked out, it took a manager approval to take $26 off my tab for incidentals as compensation. I was not the only guest that had this issue. I didn't think that I had to jump through hoops for something like no hot water but apparently that wasn't as big of a deal to the management. Not sure I want to deal with this again.

I traveled to this hotel with 15 people (couples, friends & family) for a week during this pandemic. We spent a lot of time at the pool. There were two bars, but the one for the pool itself was open from 10-6. They had their regular staff which made it easy for us to get to know each other. We paid the all-inclusive and got whatever we wanted from a select list of food and drink. The only costs above that were for premium drinks and added tips if you wished. I was happy with their selection, but if you like top shelf, it costs more. I don't need Don Julio. Curious though.... all-inclusive should mean just that. They may need to rethink how they are wording it. So, back to the staff. The bartender was NARCECO. He made all our drinks quickly and they looked fantastic Our primary waiter / server was Einer. Our secondary was Norma and Ricardo. They were extremely helpful, attentive and polite. Einer was on point practically having our next drink ready before our last one was done. We developed a pointing communication system (lol) and we never went dry. Norma and Ricardo were equally as helpful and filled in the gaps if one of their partners were busy. They all knew the menu, drinks and what was in each. No hassle, no mistakes and at the end of the evening the correct tab....signature and done until tomorrow. The next day, same thing. We really enjoyed the consistency and communication and fun. These folks better be there when I get back. Go check out the pool deck. It won't disappoint. -Enrique

We wanted to stay near the beach and not have to take a cab everywhere we went, so this hotel came as the best option for a hotel under $300 a night. The check-in was quick and efficient, the security measures for the pandemic were followed and the room was clean and roomy. We ended up staying three nights and have a very good time. The bar and restaurant are good albeit pricey. The pool and views were very nice. We would stay here again.

Great location. Close to shops, restaurants, and excursions. Breakfast was good. Dinner was good. Lupita & Norbert were very nice and helpful. Armando was great (timeshare rep). No high pressure just the facts. Everyone was very respectful and wearing masks. I felt very safe. Thanks for a great time!

We have staid at the Tesoro several times. It has been our go to place when our home in Cabo is occupied. This time we reserved a room with my wife’s AMEX card and then used my business VISA to pay at check in. By the next morning there had been a total of 6 attempts to make fraudulent charges on these cards. Luckily the credit card companies we vigilant and blocked the charges, but they also blocked the cards permanently. They are sending new ones, but if we didn’t have more credit cards, we would have been out of luck. The management did not seem surprised and the gave apologies, but that was all. So if you don’t have a back up card, don’t go to the Tesoro. Hopefully they will figure it out soon. Other than this the stay was fine.
