The staff and the attention to detail is what made my stay absolutely wonderful. On my second visit, Diana even left a hand written note with cookie in my guest room. You can really feel the hospitality of the staff starting from the front door all the way to your room. The building also has very unique history, the decor is gorgeous and they really try to support local artists and products from the photography in the guestrooms to the bouquets in the lobby and the snacks/products in the guest room. Hands down my favorite place to stay in Portland and cannot wait to go back!

Great hotel, great staff, highly recommend! Centrally located, lobby is a coffee house and the room we had (corner King with windows) was very nice. We would definitely come back to this hotel for a future visit.

    Thank You Wade

My husband and I came to Portland for my birthday weekend and it was an absolutely wonderful experience...half due to this delicious city the other half was staying at the Woodlark hotel. Check-in was smooth, the amenities are great, the gym is awesome, love the location, food in the hotel was lip smacking and can I save the best for last...Wade. I hope you read this, your attention to detail was indescribable and you made our stay at the Woodlark hotel so memorable I can’t wait to come back. Woodlark Hotel is lucky to have you and your team, thank you and see you soon!

Loved the stay. Very comfortable rooms, extremely comfy bed and pillows, and, for the first time I've experienced, a hotel with a blackout curtain that covers EVERYTHING at night! Very friendly and professional staff. I used valet, enjoyed a drink at Abigail, and a had coffee in the morning at the reception area's coffee counter. All amenities were amazing. I stayed in one of their smaller rooms and I liked the size. It felt more sustainable than a giant room typical of hotels and the additional space wasn't needed or missed for my business trip. Great location as well; restaurants and shops galore within walking distance, even though I didn't have time to enjoy. The only issue I experienced was the lights in the bathroom randomly going off during my shower. I don't know if wiring or what, but it was only 5 seconds or so. I will happily stay here again when I'm in town!

I understand why the Woodlark was voted Conde Nast's readers choice last year, staying here came with notable perks and stylish comfort. Additionally, the design of the entire hotel was just amazing- the earth tones and live greenery mixed with sleek furniture make this destination an instagramable mid-city paradise. It's also filled with very friendly and accommodating staff who welcome you and yours PLUS the PUP- at no extra fee. In fact, they welcome your furry baby with a bed, food and water bowls, and treats! I was beyond thrilled, and the hotel is also 2-blocks from a grass-filled park making your pups business time much more pleasant and free of stress. As a dog mom, finding this hotel was vital to my peace of mind mid-city. I would be remiss to not mention my favorite highlights of the Woodlark, of course. One, the burger and libations at Abigail Hall. YES. The environment is just gorgeous- lush and exquisite and not the least bit ostentatious. Abigail Hal just fills your soul when you need a bit of comfort and good service. Two, the waiting room for Bullard, a heaven-like den sporting dark colors and natural materials akin to the classiest of whiskey rooms. My photo opt took place here. Even better, or more beautiful, at Bullard is the sheet cake for dessert, it was my favorite dish of 2019. Hands down. Last but not least, in the mornings you can conveniently grab something delicious at Good (the coffee shop in the lobby) my favorite was the chocolate hazelnut hand pie, it was flakey and the perfect amount of buttery goodness. As you can see, I am obsessed with the Woodlark & it will be the only hotel I frequent when visiting the Portland area.
