    Friendly Staff/Great Entertainment

    The facility was nice despite the fact that we had to have our room sprayed for ants. Everyone of the staff we came in contact with were so friendly. The staff over pool and beach activities were so friendly and energetic, providing a wide variety of activities for everyone to join. The food was fantastic at each restaurant we visited.

    Breathless Cancun

    Well we just got back from Cancun and it was a disappointment to say the least. We have gone to Breathless punta cana every year for the last 6 yrs so we thought we were gonna have the same experience, it wasn’t. First of all the servers did a very good job, our butler was great, the food was good. The resort is beautiful, the amenities were good, the beaches stink. We couldn’t swim in the ocean because there was an alligator sighting so that was that. Thank you for protecting me HOWEVER is this the first time this has happened? How long ago was it? how is this being handled and you do realize this is KILLING your business?! And that is the big problem, their communication STINKS! We saw the entertainment team a total of 30 mins in 5 days! They do nothing to involve their guests in activities nor did we know what was going on! We did find one activity(something Roman based) but it was simply 5 people in white dancing at the party pool and of the 5 there was only one lady who seemed to enjoy here job! Again the servers at the pool were great however putting them aside this was the equivalent of just staying in a motel! We love to dance and on Saturday when we went to the club ALL table were reserved and to get one you had to buy a bottle of champagne! I thought this was ALL INCLUSIVE?! When we went to management to voice our disgust and their response was “sorry”! Now before someone responds or a Breathless person responds to this let me say this. I understand this is their “off” season so I understands making staff reductions. But I was just in Punta Cana in June with my family and it’s their “off” season and yet we were always being approached by the E team to participate in something they were doing! We always knew the days plans for entertainment. The club has never in 6 yrs been blocked off to me getting a table unless I bought something from them!!!! I was also refused service at the French restaurant, I understand they want this to be formal dining, what I don’t understand is I had on nice slacks, dress shoes and a dress shirt (collarless). So we walked 10 ft to the Italians place and was fine. We go back the next night and a guy in blue jeans was welcomes until they saw his sandals, blue jeans is ok?! We got inside and the place was empty! Again I’ve NEVER been turned away in Punta Cana! We talked to quite a few folks who didn’t bring formal clothes because they didn’t know what was required, they dressed up but didn’t meet the requirements of this one STUPID restaurant. I saw a number of couples who didn’t wear slacks in places marked casual elegance and yet they were seated and served. Remember Breathless management, set standards and also remember not everyone is just bucking the rules, some just didn’t know. We spend a lot of money to come to these location so it would behove you to remember that other companies would love to have my money and my commitment to a company to vacation with. It’s painfully obvious the management or lack there of is the problem with this resort! We will NEVER come to Breathless in Cancun again I promise you that!!

    First Actual Stay in Cancun More Cons than Pros

    I waited to write this because I was upset about many aspects of this trip. This was a birthday girl’s trip for my best friend. We stayed from 8/16-8/19/19 in rm 4320. For the most part, my best friend enjoyed the trip and her birthday. That’s what matters. With that being said, let’s start with some pros because the cons definitely outweigh the pros. Pros The room was beautiful. Spoon- the buffet funny enough was the best place to eat. Wink Bar-Miguel was entertaining. Foam Bar-Sal will have you drunk. Hibachi was good but you need to make reservations by 3-330pm. I can’t remember the name of the little hype man but he was entertaining. The after hours club played music I like which leads me to cons. Cons I wanted tacos so we went to eat in Picante thinking it was authentic. The food was horrible. Better off eating in the buffet. The Neon party should have catered to everyone especially when there was a dominant group. They only played house and techno. At the steakhouse, the waiter took forever and only served us one desert when it was three of us. The ultimate disaster, my friend’s birthday cake, see below. We came back from a beautiful excursion. Go to Xenses Park!!!! My best friend had a lovely cake. It was uncovered. We didn’t know how long it was there. Nonetheless, she was surprised and happy because it was her day. However if you see below and please blow it up, THERE WERE ANTS!!! And the excuse we got from the concierge lady on 8/17/19 at 355pm was that they don’t cover anything and we are in a jungle. Of course, we went off on her. This is a multi millionaire dollar company and this was the excuse! My best friend received another cake but totally different and didn’t taste great. So although there were some perks, I know never to get any cake from them again!

    THE BEST VACATION OF OUT ENTIRE LIVES

    There are no words! This was a trip of a lifetime that our bachelorette group will be talking about for as long as we live! A HUGE thanks to Miguel (the life of every party!), Teresa (our wink server with the best SCOOBY DOOS), Jose (at the pool bar, giving the best service!), Charly Boy (our favorite beach boy), Pascal (our amazing breakfast server), Levi (at the pool bar), Willie (our bottle service man and Italian server) and this is to name a few! I wish I could remember them all!.The party pool dancers were all awesome! Great music, top shelf booze! The Italian and hibachi restaurants were incredible! We wish we had time to try more of the restaurants! This resort will forever hold a special place in all our hearts and we look forward to going back!!!

    2 weeks at breathless

    I can honestly say these past two weeks , me , my mum , dad , grandma and friend stayed at the breathless and we were so impressed! The hotel as a whole is beautiful and there really is something for everyone. The food in all of the restaurants was incredible every night without fail, the staff in the restaurants were lovely, in particular Manuel who works in the buffet was extremely welcoming and helpful, in fact every single person I met were so kind and couldn’t help you enough. In particular wilberth and his partner from the twist and squeeze bar were so lovely and friendly and Aaron from the pizza bar was so kind. We decided to up upgrade to the xcale option which was also so worth it! The sunbeds were great and the service was even better. Alejandro and Martin. looked after us for the two weeks we stayed and they were both such wonderful people, they couldn’t help you enough. Finally we come to the entertainment side of the holiday, which me and my friend , being 20, were most interested in. There was something going on every single day , you could never be bored, even after spending 2 weeks in the resort. There was many parties put on which were always so fun and also the staff would conduct several sports and activities throughout the days. The entertainment staff really did make the holiday for me and my friend as they just held everything together. In particular Daniel, Miguel, and Lisa were exceptional workers and always bought a smile on my face. They would go above and beyond to bring entertainment to our holiday. Overall a 10/10 holiday, would definitely recommend :)
