We were fortunate to be spending 2 weeks at The Club and having read some of the reviews were a bit apprehensive. We needn’t have worried - on checking in with a welcome rum punch, our bags were taken to our super spacious room complete with fridge, very efficient air conditioning and lovely views over the pools, garden and sea. Christine the General Manager was very high profile and genuinely interested in our opinions of the resort. Each Monday evening there is a manager’s cocktail party where you have access to the senior management team, and can discuss any issues or compliments with them. We didn’t have any complaints at all - the food was plentiful, of good quality and choice, without exception. The drinks and cocktails were delicious and there were so many choices, alcoholic and otherwise. The staff were lovely and helpful, particularly the beach bar guys and girls! Geraldine in the entertainment team who took us on guided walks each morning was a mine of information about the area, and was proud to show us a small part of her island. The beach area has been eroded but there was easy access to the sea from the steps (suggest getting water shoes as it is a bit stony), but right next door to the hotel, and a very short walk, is Sandy Lane beach which has a wonderful white sand beach and beautifully calm warm water swimming. The hotel buildings are typical Caribbean, very clean and with beautiful gardens, and three swimming pools which were not huge but perfectly adequate. The buses stop more or less outside the hotel, and access round the island is very good. All in all we had a wonderful holiday and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend The Club.

We have just returned after spending 10 fabulous days at this special place. The hotel provides a relaxing, friendly and unpretentious atmosphere which allowed us to totally switch off. The manager, Caroline, was amazing. Every morning she spent time with the guests ensuring that we were all enjoying our holiday. Nothing was too much trouble. Her team were equally warm and welcoming; from Carmella and the girls in the restaurant to Indira who looked after our room. We felt so welcome. Thank you all for everything you did to give us an amazing holiday and hopefully see you again soon

Great experience, loved the resort. Highly recommend the glass boat snorkeling trip that leaves from the hotel. The water sports guys were the best and make sure you go fishing with Adam. He and Sherrod (sp?) went above and beyond to answer any questions and provide an entertaining experience.

We have just returned from an excellent 12 night stay at the Club Barbados & Spa. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we were looked after by fantastic, friendly staff, in every area of the business. I’ve never seem so many smiley faces in one resort. The restaurant food was of a very high standard, not always associated with all inclusive resorts, especially in Enid’s. We have an ocean view room with a separate balcony which was a great upgrade and kept immaculately clean every day. They do not pretend to be, nor charge Sandy Lane prices, so i struggle to understand where some of the negative reviews come from. Have sent the last 12 years visiting the Caribbean in April, this was one of the best memories amongst those. If it did have the large sandy beach right outside the hotel, it would probably be THE best (but you would have to pay more). The very short walk to the beach was so easy to access taking less than a minute. Well done Caroline and the team (special mention to Kathy) I might be back to poach your staff very soon :)

It was one of the best 9 days. Nothing but positive comments about the staff, accommodations AND we knew about the daily resort fee - (it's not a secret). Sure there is not much beach front...but explore...We walked the Sandy Lane beach every day...Holetown is an easy walk either by beach or by street. From the bartenders to the wait staff...they are amazing and always have a smile on their face and willing to accommodate to whatever you want. Your vacation is what you make of it.....we made it the best! and talked with amazing people staying there! can't wait to come back Thank you Caroline and Staff
