This was our fourth trip to Bermuda and first time staying at Grotto Bay. It is located very close to the airport and many other attractions in Bermuda. We found the staff to be very friendly and attentive and enjoyed the meals. There were two buffet style nights (one was barbeque and one was a surf and turf) and the food was fantastic! We had massages in the cave and would highly recommend it for anyone who stays there. If you rent an electric car to explore the island, you can park your car right outside your room which is super convenient. They are currently undergoing renovations to the restaurant and it looks like it will be amazing once it is completed. I've read a few comments in prior posts where guests complained about cats and chickens. Seriously,??? We saw three cats on the property who were very friendly and outgoing and obviously well cared for. There were baby chickens following their mother around and it was adorable to watch. I can't imagine why anyone would complain about something like that. The all inclusive meal plan is a must ---- we will definitely be coming back again next year!

Avoid this dump at any cost , the staff rude dishonest! The food was horrible! You can’t eat when you want like being in elementary school . Nasty room towels dirty also can’t rest due to ?? cocka doo doo all night cats ???? everywhere ! Horrible Place !

This was our second stay at Grotto Bay Beach Resort and we are already looking forward to going back. The location is absolutely picturesque, very convenient to the airport & bus transportation and easily walkable to local attractions (Bailey’s Ice Cream. Swizzle Inn, and The Crystal Caves). The resort staff was amazing! Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. Throughout each day various employees (restaurant staff, grounds crew, pool staff and housekeeping) took time to talk with us and ask about our experience at the resort. So welcoming and kind! The Cathedral Cave is incredible!! Cold water, but a once in a lifetime experience. The rum swizzle reception with the manager was lovely and included a non-alcoholic option (much appreciated). Every meal was delicious and the restaurant staff was wonderful. Great food, great service, great people!! They truly made us feel welcome and appreciated at every meal.

Arrived to find construction going on; continuous truck digging out ledge near the beach. Sit on my balcony and hear and see it, sit on the beach hear it. SO disappointing. The veiews are spectacular , the rooms dated but the location would more than make up for it if it wasnt for the continual construction. Dissapointing suggest go somewhere else or check on when renovations are going to be finished.

A friend and I recently went to Bermuda to participate in the Bermuda Triple Challenge OCR event and stayed at this beautiful resort. Our room was comfortable and the property is beautiful! We took advantage of the available watersports and went paddleboarding, which was fantastic. We both had spa treatments at the unique underground spa and we were both very happy with the experience. We used the hot tub, which was also lovely. We ate one lunch and two dinners on the property and they were all delicious. The Swizzle Inn is also a short walk away which offers great food and drinks, as well. Very much worth mentioning is how helpful and friendly the staff is. From the front desk, to the restaurant, to the Dive Shop - everyone seemed determined for us to have a great time. I would say that about everyone I met in Bermuda - such a warm and welcoming place to visit. And if you do, I highly recommend the Grotto Bay Beach Resort & Spa!
