Pretty Good

The hotel was fine. I am not sure why there are cobblestones embedded in the floor outside the rooms in the hallway. Very noisy when carts are wheeling past late at night. The staff was mostly standoffish Except for one who provided excellent customer service at the pool: Victor O. Also, Rosi made delicious omelettes. Overall the food was decent at this resort. There are only hot tubs at the adult pool unfortunately.

Peaceful stay at the Krystal

Alfredo the bellman was especially fantastic along with other associates were great. The rooms are clean and the drinks are good. The buffet food on the other hand was not so good, I do not reccomend. There are also certain bands that allow you to eat at certain restaurants in the am. The resort is pretty peaceful with a family vibe, not a party resort at all. There are on the resort taxis to take you to your destinations and will wait for you.

Truly the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had.

Day 1. They put us in a room under construction. There was fresh joint compound on the wall. Crumbled joint compound in the sink they couldn’t bother to clean. Painters tape on doorways, and an overwhelming chemical smell. The AC unit clicked and clanked all night long. Day 2. Request a new room in a building that wasn’t under construction. The first one we stayed in clearly was. The young man at the counter called his supervisor to explain the situation. They told him to tell us there was nothing they could do but move us to a different room in the same building. New room in the same building still on Day 2 - constant construction noise beneath us throughout the day every time we’ve come to our room. Construction workers coming in and out of the building every time we come and go. The furniture in this room is ripped and destroyed. There is an electrical outlet protruding from the wall, clearly not installed properly. Phones don’t work in this room. They also didn’t work in the first room. We have to go to the front desk to request anything. The second bed in room two didn’t have bedding and there is not a cup to be found in our room for coffee or any kind of beverage. We requested bedding and cups 7 hours ago. Requested again 2 hours ago because it still hadn’t arrived. Now just requested again for the 3rd time. They promised us 20 minutes and it would be up to our room. It’s been 20 minutes and still nothing. We have no bedding to sleep on and no one seems to know how we can find some. We even offered to carry it up ourselves if they could just find some. They said they didn’t have it and to just wait, which we have been… for 7 hours now. Management could not be bothered to call us or come to the lobby upon our request when we asked to speak with them. We had to track them down ourselves by taking a car to the other side of the resort to find them where their office was. They couldn’t be troubled to come to us. They refused to call us or come speak to us in person from the very first moment we requested to be moved due to the unit being under construction. A total lack of responsiveness, hospitality, and customer service from the concierge who claimed he was the manager. We were told there was no one else to speak to. The food…. It’s terrible. The catch of the day at the grill, completely inedible. The steak was supposed to be medium rare. It was cold, rare and so tough it could barely be cut with a steak knife. We ate the salads. They were fine. The main portions of our meals were untouched except the first bites. We have 3 more days of hell in this resort. Do not waste your money. This resort is clearly trying to make a buck on a property this is not ready or prepared to actually be accommodating. We come to cabo at least once, usually twice a year. We took a chance on a different resort because they offered a great deal. For a few hundred dollars more, we could have spent the week at our regular place where none of this would have happened. Do yourself a favor and stay at the Corazon. Krystal Grand is a joke and just about as far from “grand” as you can possible get.

Daypass

We went to Kristal grand for a day pass.. it was excellent! I even had the opportunity to meet the chief concierge Mario, what an excellent person. Attentive and he told us where everything was, food was great and the pools amazing, do not miss the chance to enjoy it. hank you!

Best pool bartender

Pedro at the pool bar was amazing and very knowledgeable about cocktails and more. The service was amazing. He was always willing to be very helpfull and suggesting new cocktails for us to try. If you ever come to Krystal Grand Cabos, you have to go the the adults pool where Predo will take care of you !
