    My family stayed at the Hard Rock for the 4th and 5th of July 2020. Rates were 697.00 a night, (we stayed at the "Rock Royalty" level) and this would be our 7th time staying at this resort as we were also Loews Platinum members back when that meant something. The first day we arrived, we knew that things were going to be different, but we also figured that since the hotel was still charging 700.00 a night for club level rooms, most of the inconveniences were solved. We never would imagine that their solution was to charge the same rate they always have, while just blatantly taking away amenities, making their guests just simply do without. Somehow there was "nowhere to get a coke" in the entire hotel past 11pm, and the velvet bar was closed at midnight on the 4th of july (when it was advertised as open until 1:30) and closed at 10:30 on the 5th (when it was also advertised as open until 1:30am.) When asked about why they were closed, the desk attendant said "well they just close whenever they get slow." For 700.00 a night, I feel like a place should stay open until advertised on Google. Period. I spent time getting ready to go to the bar downstairs, to only be told by the desk attendant, "yeah sorry they're closed apparently." I honestly don't care if there was only one person that came to the bar between those hours. Their staff is already reduced, and they're still charging the same rates for club level rooms, while not providing the same level of service. We even had to go all the way to the first floor and pick up our "Rock Royalty Dinners" that were the same every night all the way on the first floor. It was 5 wings and a side of macaroni and cheese. I had to leave a hotel that I paid 700.00 a night for, to drive to the gas station and get a coke....there's not even a vending machine to go to in any hallway, or microwave in the hotel room. This has honestly just been a terrible experience for me and my family, and we are being charged the same amount of money we always have been, for the accommodations and service as a Holiday Inn. I could've stayed at Floridays in Orlando and saved myself close to 1000.00, and had a hotel room with a microwave, a full size refrigerator, stove, and a vending machine to go to without having to leave the premises. I honestly could've bought fast passes for the 5 of us and STILL saved money. That's the whole point of staying at the Hard Rock, there should be no reason to leave. Unfortunately, I think I'm done with Loews after this......the room I stayed in had 5 people, and I had to request for a rollout bed after I already stressed that I had 5 people staying with me during check in. Imagine going to do things that are listed for certain times at a hotel you're paying 700.00 a night for, and when you show up they tell you that they close whenever "THEY feel like they get slow", its just unacceptable. The photo attached is an hour after I went to go to the velvet bar while I was sitting in the lobby eating my pizza I had to order, because everything was closed at their hotel by 11pm. By the way, I was at velvet bar by 10:30 and they were closed, but even if you go by the photo, they were still closed 2 hours before they were supposed to be. Classic example of pure greed, the hotel expects YOU to make sacrifices during the COVID pandemic, while they take away amenities and staff.....thus providing a lackluster experience, all while they charge you the same rate they always have.

    Stayed Club level 3 days(around 1,800.00 dollars) which was suppose to have full amenities. Food,drinks,water,snacks available but the only problem is that you have to go from the 7th floor which is club level all the way down to the3rd floor......walk from one end of the hotel to the other end to collect food water coke or whatever is the fare of the day(same all three days) and for my party of 5 head back to room . Oh yeah forgot ,no bags available to put any of this in. Didn't want to hang around in this very tiny room in fear of not being able at any time to social distance as defined by the CDC. All this after a day in the park mind you. Had refrigerator replaced 3 times(still didn't get cold enough for the Florida weather). If there were only a few people in the Velvet Bar it would shut down before posted hours(keep in mind I paid over 500.00 a night).I did get recouped 100.00 for bad refrig for one night only.Don't get me wrong now......the employees are great but they are on a short lease,managemet at the local level was very rude, Andrea at the front desk stated to another employee in front of my wife "WHAT DOES SHE WANT,I HOPE SHE DOESN'T MAKE ME MISS A CALL". Our family and relatives have been going to HRH Orlando for years now on and off.Checked out and stayed at another resort off of Universal for remainder of vacation.Also be warned..... the morning of check out these guys shut down my fast pass to the parks. Had to go to Guest Services and get another card.I do realize what kind of times we are in right now,but please don,t try to stand behind the Covid excuse while at the same time making me pay full price for everything as if it were normal times.     Amazing Pool and View

    This hotel was absolutely amazing. It was a great location. Clean. Friendly staff. Pool is phenomenal. I can’t say enough good about this hotel. I would 100% stay here again. The water taxi to universal is great or it’s a very short walk to the parks. Bonus! If you stay here you get the express pass for Universal!

    A class act.We were left in no doubt that our health and safety were the hotels priorities.Everyone wore masks,temperatures were checked daily,hand sanitiser was everywhere and the common areas seemed to be cleaned almost continuously.Our room was large,comfortable and well appointed.I had to self park and carry my own bags but I enjoyed the exercise.They have raised the bar.Hopefully other resorts can come close to doing as well!

    We took our boys for their big birthday surprise to Universal Studios and stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel!! The cleanliness and all of the safety precautions being taken due to Covid-19 were excellent!! We felt so safe and are already booking our next vacation with Hard Rock Hotel!! Can't say enough great things about all of the staff and this awesome hotel!!
