One hears Fairmont and one knows already that this brand goes along with luxury, dedication, design, anticipation, attention to all details, excellency, the best bedding, and incredible perks. Such has been my late experience of this past weekend with them by staying at Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth to celebrate my spouse’s birthday ??. Not only we were given access to our room earlier that day but we were spoiled with a late check out of two more hours the day we left; also, the hotel had sent an exquisite passion fruit mouse wrapped in a delicate white chocolate layer all around it, decorated with small fruits and flowers plus toe butters of Evian. We slept so profoundly that it was painful to get up in the morning for our day of activities up so the bedding, the duvet, and pillows were fluffy and perfect. The restaurants Roselys and artisans and the Krema cafe at the lobby offer a variety of succulent choices presented with utmost sophistication and style. The front desk was superb, and the location needs no comments. Knowing that John Lennon and Yoko stayed there 50 years ago and that their room is still available to be visited made our stay even more interesting and exciting. The views from the 21st floor over the cathedral and the city were simply amazing. We loved it and they know we will be back. Isaac.

this is a nice hotel with a great restaurant and if you get a room up high you can see a lot of downtown . i also enjoyed going to some of the beautiful churches that were close to the hotel and some of the other older buildings down town

We had a one night layover in Montreal on our cross country train trip. The Fairmont Queen Elizabeth was the perfect place to stay. The train station is literally right under the hotel. An elevator took us directly to the hotel lobby. Even though we arrived at 10:30 am, Andree at the front desk was very welcoming and worked hard to find a room that was ready for us. And she did! After an overnight trip on the train, being able to get into our room right away was an unexpected treat! The rooms appear to have been recently renovated. Everything was modern, clean, and in good working order. Plenty of outlets by both sides of the bed. In addition to a great location for train travel, the Fairmont is centrally located for tourist sites, as well. We walked to Old Montreal. The hotel restaurant and coffee shop were both excellent. We highly recommend the Fairmont Queen Elizabeth, and will be back the next time we're in Montreal.

I had the opportunity to stay at the QE for a few night before going to the Chateau Frontenac. The location is prefect for train travel as central station is right underneath the hotel. The room service food was delious, quick and efficient. The room decor was clean line with a 60's flair, the bathrooms are well lite and designed with black and white subway tiling. Upon leaving we went to Rosely's for Sunday Brunch, which was to die for....everything you could ever want in a brunch with a view of the cathedral and the downtown streets. What an incredible experience! I look forward to returning again next Sept!
