The Reef at Atlantis

Kerry H (Plymouth, Massachusetts) on Apr 27, 2024

Beautiful, spacious resort with many activities and amenities. Great for young kids. The conservationship efforts for endangered/injured species was admirable and it was amazing to be able to see so many animals. The hotels/room were relatively well-appointed and well-designed. The Reef is a great option if you want to have some meals in the room since it has a kitchenette. Staff was friendly and helpful.

My favorite beach vacation resort!

AngelaH170 (New Palestine, Indiana) on Apr 26, 2024

We love Atlantis and have been coming there for over 20 years. We usually come twice a year, once in the Spring and then again in September for my birthday. September is the perfect time to visit Atlantis as the weather is great, the Resort isn’t crowded and the cost is cheaper. We never have to leave the Resort while we are there because Atlantis has everything you need for a wonderful vacation experience!!?

The best property in Atlantis Bahamas

Sirenz2k6 on Apr 26, 2024

I had a birthday week with family and friends staying at all properties within Atlantis. I split my 9 days stay between the Reef and the Cove. And hands down, in my opinion- the Reef is the better property, better value for money, better room amenities too. Will definitely be back. For comparison - I had a one-bedroom suite in the Reef. For similar price - I had an Ocean King at the Cove, hands-down I wanted to go back to the Reef. All properties are good by the way. But if you are after more value for your money - the Reef is whatssup. *photos are of the Reef

Overpriced and Underwhelming

aloha8 (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) on Apr 26, 2024

Half of the waterpark rides were closed when we were here. I was told by staff that there wasn't enough lifeguards to man the rides. Challenger slide and Jungle slide were open for like 4 hours and then closed the rest of the day. So were other slides on the Power Tower. There were kiddie slides at the kids pool that were closed the entire time of our stay. It is so expensive to stay here as it is one of the pricier resorts in the Bahamas and everything is auto-gratuity 15% and extra 10% so on top of the high prices you are already paying, they tack on 25% on top of every bill.

I truly was not WOWED. Beautiful views, nice people but to be a five star hotel, there’s should have been better.
