We stayed one week at Sandals Royal Plantation along with two other couple (best friends). Our overall goal was to enjoy each other company, soak up some sunshine and water and take advantage of other nearby Sandals as well as activities like boats, golf, dolphins and diving. The accommodations were very nice - we had a small suite with well appointed bathroom, walk in shower and large soaker tub with jets. We had a small stocked bar catering to our tastes and full butler service which even included our own cell phone with speed dial to our butlers.. This particular resort was smaller at about 75 rooms total which suited our preference to stay away from crowds. The food was good to great! The drinks were well made and always available no matter where you were (beach, room, patio, etc.). Our butlers were always very reachable and catered to most anything we needed (even items not on the list). Special shout out to Bebeato and Marvin! Out butlers coordinated events with our friends butlers for things like special dinners, cruises and other events. Tips: Like most beaches and pools you need to get there early to snag chairs in the shade. If you think of something you have a craving for just ask. As an example I wanted nachos but they were not on the menu - no problem they made them! I had a craving for potato chip - they made us homemade chips! Pay attention to shuttle departure and return times when planning to go beyond your hotel. We splurged on the VIP service which got us through customs in a few minutes instead of hours. It also got us great food, drinks and accommodations when waiting at the airport for our return flights. Worth every penny.

Our 13th visit to Royal Plantation was a fantastic as the first and every visit in between. The nicest, most relaxing, best cuisine, wonderful libations and hands down the best team of individuals that you could ask for. Each morning The Terrace team greets everyone with a smile and they make you feel like you are the most important person on the property. Little do they know, they are the most amazing people. Stephanie and the entire Terrace staff is beyond terrific. Lancelot should be very proud of this group serving the resort. Names are evading me but everyone is the best. Should you choose to spend your day on the East or West beach, you will be pleased to meet three of the greatest men that I know. Daniello, Romaine and Trevardo will ensure that you have a wonderful RP beach experience. Your glass will never be empty and a fist bump is just perfect and the biggest smiles around. A team that you will never forget and cannot wait to see again and again. While relaxing on the beach, the fantastic Royal Grill has a great menu and Orneitia will make sure your glass is never empty and your lunch always perfect served with the biggest smile and laughter. Sherika makes you smile each and very time we see her. She is one member of this team that you will never forget-everyone goes over and beyond your expectations. Gladstone and DiWaynie were our butlers that week and with Sherrill on vacation, DiWaynie did a fantastic job in her absence. The drawn bath, the cute towels, the fabulous Jerk Chicken treat at lunchtime, we enjoyed everything and it was greatly appreciated. Before dinner each evening, we stopped by The Wobbly Peacock for a before-dinner wine and had the pleasure of Garnett, Junior and Gizelle. Such a pleasure to be in their company- always a smile...So gracious and entertaining and such kind words. The perfect gathering place... Andre Coombs, Bebeato, Keanu and every butler on site are the best individuals that you will ever meet. They may not be your butler for the week but they always ask if you are enjoying yourself and having a great time while on property. They will take the time to assist if you happen to have a question and do it with a smile. One of the greatest things about RP are the guests that you meet while you are on the property. This resort attracts some of the most pleasant guests looking for a relaxing and quiet vacation. The environment of RP creates an environment of pleasant days and beautiful evenings....Looking forward to the next trip... soon...

Beautiful property, very intimate and relaxing. The staff is one of a kind, they will treat you like Royalty from the minute you arrive. The beach and grounds are well maintained and gorgeous.

We just had a wonderful week at Sandals Royal Plantation in Jamaica. We were curious as to why the resort received such rave reviews as we have never been there before. I can tell you the service at this resort is unbelievable! If you are looking for very relaxing vacation, with your significant other, you will not find a better resort in the Sandals portfolio to do that in.

What an outstanding resort from start to finish! It was obvious that every detail of our stay mattered to each member of the staff. Everyone we dealt with went over the top to serve and was so friendly. The food, entertainment, clean beach, fun drinks, lovely room and quiet setting meant so much to us. We will be returning!!
