From the booking process all the way until checkout, the Heathman was superb! Sarah and her team have curated an amazing ambiance for guests and visitors alike. We were given great recommendations for places to go and fun restaurants. The Tavern restaurant at the Heathman provided great service and amazing breakfast to start our days as well, and have to love the Stumptown Holler Mtn blend each morning in the library in the lobby. Also, the special touches for our visit since it was our anniversary were like a cherry on top!

Pros: Good location. The lounge area is pretty. There is free coffee in the morning. Cons: The room is tiny. The bathroom is literally the smallest bathroom I've ever seen. The AC in the room doesn't work (just blows room-temperature air), and you can't open the window for cooler air. The coffee is taken away at 9am. The bar closes at 8pm.

I enjoyed my stay at this historic hotel. The Hotel staff was very attentive, room was perfect, which made the stay extremely comfortable, and all around peaceful. The library was AMAZING... wish I could have spent more time in there but my time was limited due to a busy. business trip. Only true issue I had was that the restaurant/bar closed a bit too early. Wish they could at least have the bar area open with a small menu for night caps. I HIGHLY recommend the Heathman!

Beautiful common spaces....great staff....the Heathman is a terrific choice for a weekend in Portland.

Beautiful hotel with the most amazing staff!! The hotel decor is absolutely beautiful and the corner guestroom on the 3rd floor was a dream surrounded by trees. The beautiful space inspired me to get so much reading done. The hotel is centrally located to everything downtown. From the minute you walk out of your taxi, the Hotel Staff make you feel welcome by greeting you outside and going above and beyond. Also, all the little details from the coffee press in the morning to enjoying a glass of wine in their beautiful library by the fireplace made it so hard for me to check out. I was here for business, but I will be back with my husband to enjoy this beautiful hotel together.
