Good for price but not fancy

This is second time we’ve stayed here mainly because of the price and the location at south end of the Strip isn’t bad. In the MGM family this is on the lesser side of hotels. The hotel is showing its age and has a more tired and worn feel. This time I spent a bit more for a suite and, for the price, it was a good deal. We had two rooms (bedroom and living room with sink and fridge) a large soaking tub, and two bathrooms. The resort fee is less at this hotel than most on strip. We got a $30 credit for food, which we used in the Buffet, but the quality of the food didn’t come close to justifying the price. They have a decent food court though with other options. It is a short walk to monorail at the MGM grand.

If u are looking for somewhere on the strip, that is not too far from the center of attraction that is close to Bellagio, excalibur is a really great option. Walking distance to everything, and close to the airport. The staff try their upmost be helpful and caring every minute while we were there.although it is an order hotel and I have also stayed at many other hotels on the strip I will definitely stay there again. If you.know that you will not be in the room all day , but like me, sleep and head out in the morning, excalibur is perfect! It is very economical.and clean..allowing.you to have extra money.in your.pockets

No refrigerator, microwave, or even coffee maker in rooms. Although you can go to the lobby and drop 10 bucks for a cup of coffee at the MANY kiosks there. Breakfast buffet is 22 bucks and not that good. Rooms are definitely showing their age. Were seated at the Camelot Steakhouse, with reservations, for 20 minutes without being offered a cocktail. (We left)

We love staying here. Easy and great location. Always have had friendly staff that has been helpful when needed. It needs some updating but otherwise it's a great cost efficient place to be on the strip.

When we arrived were allocated a second floor room in the Resort Tower overlooking the pool. There was a lot of noise from the hotel air conditioning and we went to resort services they moved us to the Royal Tower which was much better. The rooms are good and comfortable but could do with a makeover (coffee machine, brightening up).
