Worst hotel I could ever find anywhere: worst service, worst manager, worst smell.
RenatoVTR (Sao Paulo, SP) on May 02, 2024
I deeply regret staying at this cheap smelly hotel. The check in previewed what this USD 10 hotel is about. Automated check in is a mess. They say we will have to pay a second resort fee that actually is a just a deposit. After getting the keys I found a room not prepared to be occupied. Returned to check in but the unpleasant and rude check in girl said (without looking at our faces) that the hotel was full and I couldn't change room. I couldn't even pay for an upgrade I had been offered 10 minutes before (according to her the hotel got completely full after those 10 minutes). Manager confirmed that lie saying nothing could be done and the room would be cleaned as soon as I got there. They could have said "You get what you paid for, get used to it, you are not special and not even welcome here". It would be nicer than that shamefull lie. Other things: -power outlets beside bed didn't work, -no minibar, -sink was clogged after the second day, -air conditioning didn't keep a constant temperature, -no free chairs by the pool (a few ones are far, under the shadow next to a wall and are always occupied, -breakfast options are a few and not good either, -receptionists are all unpleasant, unwilling and rude - I really don't know why they put them over there, -I had a package delivered to my room and in advance I had email asking them to receive it - they remembered to tell me I would have to pay for that service but forgot to say it would be closed on weekends (I needed my package for a congress on Sunday, but do they care????) —from all Las Vegas hotels this one has the strongest cigarette and dust smell. I understand a USD 10 rate cannot guarantee a good experience. Cleanness is not a must in these kind of places. But my stay was 20 times more expensive than that per day.
Robbed at HARRAHS PARKING GARAGE
Cathy G on May 02, 2024
We stayed at Harrahs for 3 days and got robbed in their parking garage. Stay away from Harrahs!!!! The location is right in the middle of the strip and the parking garage is down an alleyway without any security!!! They charge $20 dollars to park even if you stay in their hotel. They smashed the rear window of our car that was parked on the fifth floor. We came to Vegas to to go rafting on the Colorado River and all my gear for the trip was stolen. We were so humiliated by what happened we left a day before check out. Harrahs still charged us for all the days even PARKING!!!!! They refused to reimburse us because they said we checked out after 11 am meanwhile I had to spend the day rebuying everything for the trip, dropping my car off to get repaired and relying on a taxi. Harrahs security said it was our fault to leave things in our car. They only care about themselves not their customers STAY AWAY!!!!
