    we have stayed here many times, but this trip was a little different........not sure if its covid related or lower room prices, but lets say we witnessed many people who would be normally staying at a cheaper hotel........having a lower class of people kind of "cheapens" the hotel if you know what i mean.......

    Complimentary valet parking was great, we were greeted at the front desk warmly with smiles. Check in was very smooth, hotel is covid-19 responsive. I really loved the complimentary printing of our boarding passes at the front desk when we checked out. The room was very very nice. Room was clean, smelled fresh with two(2) tv's. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was large with separate shower, tub, double vanity, and makeup table. It even had a tv in the bathroom. I was somewhat disappointed that our room had no frig, microwave, or coffee. I was on the 5th floor so no view of strip. Please review pictures. I did like that shops and restaurants were open as well as food court. Be advised, very expensive food court. There is a resort fee($45.00 plus tax per day) and a $150.00 per day hold placed on your credit card. It was placed back on my card after two(2) days. I rate this hotel 4.50. I would give it a 5 but no frig, microwave in our room. I received a excellent rate from my travel club. Keithjwps8318.com

    Nice clean hotel. Well thought out floor plan(s). Pretty good parking structure---easy in/easy out. We enjoyed the restaurants within the hotel: CHICA, Yardbird, The Grand Lux... Each had wait staff that treated us like we were special. NICE! (We didn't realize the Grand Lux was/is 24hr until later. A late-night meal is such a plus!!) Our room was nicely appointed. Clean, comfortable and quiet on an 8 level of 1-10. (We could hear some late-night partiers just outside our door. :-( The Venetian was itself nice. The only downsides of the trip? We wanted to stay at the Palazzo and some rudeness at our car rental.

    Lots of hand sanitizers and wipes around. Enforcing wearing false masks. Many workers around to help clean the buttons in the elevators. A package of hand sanitizer, face masks and disinfect wipes were provided in the room. We feel safe.

    Beware of additional charges!

    Overall nice property - not exceptional like the Wynn, Encore or Trump. Additional resort fee of $45 per day plus tax (on the resort fee) will be added to your bill. Were offered an upgrade - $40 per day for higher floor - not worth it. This "upgrade fee" was then changed to $45 plus tax (on the upgrade!) There is a refrigerator in the room with zero space for your personal things. If you remove anything to make room, you will be charged for those items. Highly recommend staying at the Trump instead, where you will enjoy a complete kitchen, daily coffee, no casino noise and absolutely no smoking.
