    This is a very clean and generally attractive hotel. Generally, the food and service are good, but with a few exceptions, their breakfast needs work. Please do your own research on what you can do during COVID. For example, you are allowed to visit COVID-certified restaurants, but the staff don’t tell you that. Instead, they will insist that you can only eat there! We thought it was a matter of confusion, but learned from newly-arrived guests that they were told the same thing—this was after we challenged this restriction and were assured it was staff confusion and that the staff had been reinstructed. Smh. They seem to be taking advantage of COVID-19 restrictions to impose additional rules to keep you on site to make sure that you only spend money there. Sad. They should be willing to spread $$$ around to other businesses .

    This is such a difficult hotel to review as there is so much that is good about the place and there is so much that is frankly poor. The staff are extremely pleasant. A real credit to their island But..... 1 1/2 wait for dinner 45 minute wait for breakfast 2 hour wait for dine around takeaway to be collected 1 .15 hour wait to be collected from Jaques restaurant ( 2 minute drive .you are not allowed to walk) . It is SO frustrating and the staff just smile and continue without doing Anything about it . The hotel is certainly the poor relation to the resort . It is pretty drab . The rooms are fine ..great aircon, comfy bed etc but no hot water for the last 3 days ! Gallows humour created a great atmosphere amongst the guests ! Truly friendly! But the resort is where you want to be . Great beach and the service is more efficient All over we enjoyed our stay but it Should be so much better. 90% of their guest are from U.K. /Europe. Really they should have figured out by now that everyone is starving at 7.30 and the kids are beyond exhausted at dinner time ! Consistently Waiting over an hour for service is simply bad management. Quality of food varied from extremely good to extremely poor ! Oh and avoid the rum punch..every other drink is great ! Go by all means but stay at the resort if you can afford it . Otherwise be prepared And try and keep smiling:) The locals don’t seem to stop :)

    I am 5 days into the quarantine period of my stay in St Lucia at the Bay Gardens hotel. The staff are very friendly and amenable. It is quiet due to covid, but I'm happy with that. Food is beautiful. You can travel via shuttle bus to the beach resort.

    I stayed at the Bay Gardens hotel. Before my arrival I had the privilege of meeting Ms Anice O’Neil from the reservations department. Ms O’Neil answered all of my questions and remained accessible to me throughout my stay in case I had any questions. She was very professional yet showed a genuine interest in understanding my needs, and went above and beyond to make sure they were met. Upon my arrival I met Ms Deborah Schwartz… what a wonderful person! This lady is such a gentle and caring soul. She always made sure to ask if I was ok, and if there was anything I needed to make my stay comfortable ...she was prompt in delivering anything I needed. Veronica and the other staff were all very pleasant and kind. The food was tasty and there was a good variety. It was neatly presented and good portion size. The grounds was very clean and well kept. The staff at the Bay Gardens hotel made me feel like I was at home and treated me like family. Thanks to all of you at Bay Gardens hotel for making my quarantine an extremely positive experience!

    I would like to begin by extending my sincere appreciation to the entire Bay Gardens Hotel team for the outstanding hospitality, professionalism, and attention to detail thus far. Being part of the current global pandemic, this has not taken away from the exceptional service, catering, and hospitality that this resort is known for. I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Yolan & Sherian from the front desk for always being available and courteous at every turn. I would also like to send a notable mention to Ms. Matilda who has risen to the occasion and extended additional hospitality. I have had zero complaints since my arrival here and I am looking forward to another fantastic week of this quarantine period (I almost wish it was longer). Keep on doing the amazing job that you all are doing and I look forward to revisiting this resort in the future with my family post-COVID-19. With excellent Wi-Fi, state of the art Smart Tv's and an extensive array of local dishes and cuisine, you do not want to pass this opportunity up. I would highly recommend anyone to take stay here and visit this beautiful island of Saint Lucia. You will be warmly and graciously welcomed and have a vacation of a lifetime.
